For me WWWSK just came and went without making any impact. I do feel bad for not being able to enjoy a show which apparently has created such a buzz here. Just too bad that I didn’t feel much for the otp. 🙁 #RegularKdramacomplications

You know.. honestly.. they were really cute, but I didn’t feel much for them? I cackled during the proposal. 🙈 The lyrics amused me..

I had to skip the proposal as soon as I saw her entering the house…way too cringy for my life!

I’m embarrassed to admit this bammsie, I haven’t followed anything after episode 1. 🙈🙈 Generally the main hook of a show for me is the OTP, [I keep saying this like a broken record], and here, both of them just didn’t click for me, and there was nothing different in terms of their relationship either. I was curious about what’s wrong with secretary Kim though lol. But seems like it was more the other way around. 😂 But yes, the secondary characters were hilarious.
Forgot to add, it’s also fun to talk about the shows we didn’t like. 😂 You Beanies are awesome.

😂 Don’t be embarrassed! I watched the premiere episodes and thought it was fun, but I just never felt any emotional attachment, so I dropped it. But some Beanies were watching it on Rabbit, so I hopped in and laughed more at Beanie reactions to Ep 15 than the actual episode.

Discussions ARE always fun! Whether we loved or hated, or are just meh on something. 😂

😂 😂 Yeah, the happiness discovering that people share your opinion. 😊😊

Same! I did care for the secondary characters, though! I FF the 2 final eps just to see their scenes and ignored the rest.

this was me too. i enjoyed the show well enough, but it didnt have that special x-factor for me. i was hoping for the kind of chemistry PMY had in Healer, I think, and while I love PSJ this just wasnt the same. BUT I did LOVE the secondary characters so so so much. i was all about Kim Ji-ah and Go Gwi-nam; Yoo-sik was always a delight; i wish i had more Secretary Soul mistakes too hahaha. So i had fun with it, but it wasnt the shining star to me that it seems it was to many others.

To be completely honest, I strongly disliked it. I was appalled by many things the characters said/did, and the moments that were meant to be romantic made me roll my eyes/gag a little lol. Shame, really, since I thought I’d be amazing.

i can understand that–there was definitely a lot of cringy moments. i had high hopes, too, when i first heard about this. i felt like both actors got stuck in roles that didnt let them showcase their best. and i felt like the whole “whats wrong with secretary kim” got lost early on. but i didn’t hate it, for all that. it was just another run-of-the-mill romcom to me, when i was hoping for something grander. (in related news–does it seem like lots of dramas lately have seemed promising and ended up disappointing? i cant remember feeling this repeatedly let down before.)

Hmm, apart from this one, I can’t think of a recent drama for which I had high hopes and ended up dropping or not liking it at all! Which ones have let you down these days?

@natzillagorilla (it wouldn’t let me reply to your comment, so i’ve done it this way) — maybe my expectations lately have been too high? i was pretty excited for “The Undateables” (granted, that’s just because NGM, but still) and “About Time” sounded so so so interesting…but both ended up feeling like a let down. 3WSK was definitely more enjoyable than either of those, to me, but still didn’t measure up to my expectations.

            Ah, I see!
            I didn’t even try Undateables because I just can’t with Hwang Jung-eum.
I only watched the 1st ep of About Time, and even though the story sounded promising, I wasn’t that invested so kind of forgot to watch ep 2 and then never got to it. I’ve heard it was pretty, pretty bad! I’m sorry those didn’t live up to your expectations 🙁
I’m thoroughly enjoying Life on Mars right now! From the new dramas, I liked the first eps of Still 17, and I’m watching Let’s Eat 3 so…hopefully no more let downs in the near future?

@natzillagorilla Lol I felt the same. I even made myself sit through the whole of episode 1, just because. Also maybe coming from my ahjussi, the whole theatrical approach made it worse. 😅

I liked the secondary characters too. Especially that lady in the office who acts like a hysteric lol. And PSJ’s friend was funny. From the GIFs and screenshots on fan wall, seems like they stayed awkward and hilarious till the end lol.
Sadly this is the second PSJ drama that I skipped after fight my way. :S

The secondary character were eeeeverything in this drama! I’m sad they didn’t really get much time on screen 🙁
I haven’t watched Fight My Way! I don’t know why it doesn’t really catch my attention.

I have 4 episodes left and I have know motivation to finish and I have lost interest completely. I’m glad I’m not alone in “not feeling the buzz”
