Beanies, can you recommend any dramas in which Home plays a big part? I want something that feels warm and familiar with lots of domestic scenes. Examples include 21st Century Boy and Girl and BTLIOF.
Maybe Dance Sports Girls? It features a complicated relationship with the lead’s small town hometown though.
The movie Sunset in my Hometown is really good and probably fits the bill of what you’re looking for! (It stars Kim Go Eun)
First thing that came to mind was Go Back Couple though I’m not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for. Jang Nara’s interactions with her mother just hit me in the heart.
