Week 27~

The year was 1988, a time when it was chilly, but our hearts were fiery, a time when we didnโ€™t have much but peopleโ€™s hearts were warm.

It is not 1988, but nevertheless, this quote resonated with me deeply this week.

Taking a moโ€™ away from the busyness and the chaos to rest, and to say that Iโ€™m glad yโ€™all are around. ๐Ÿ™‚ Take a little rest with me, if you havenโ€™t stopped for a bit. Or if you need a some motivation to keep at something you need to, then have a little โ€œHwaiting!โ€ from me.

I have baguettes and hugs full of affection for any dumbling who wants any.

    Awww…bams, I like this. I’ve been so busy, I need a rest – time for reflection or just to smell the flowers and doodle!

    btw, where are your baguettes? and who is this moustache chap with a balloon?

      My baguettes are in my mouth. 😂
      Somehow, theyโ€™ve become a blanket term for a bunch of different things.. Iโ€™ve used them as weaponry, ways to show fondness/dominance. (I may have some pics popping up again soon, I promised a class that Iโ€™d bring some in..)

      The mustache dude lives in my physics notebook. I found that I like reading my notes better when theyโ€™re broken up into sections rather than huge blocks of text, so Iโ€™ve taken to pre-drawing little weirdos in. That one started off as a fruit and ended up being a mustachioed balloon man. Any name suggestions for him?

    And coincidentally I was just listening to book 1 over the weekend. Which also reminds me, I need to finish the rest of the audio book.

        I listen to it on Audible and the author is Jim Dale. I’ve listened to the audio books at least twice so I’m used to his voice already. When I heard his voice on Pushing Daisies, I immediately knew it was him. OK, maybe I listened to HP books more than twice to recognize his voice. 😂

          Ahhh, thanks! Iโ€™ve been doing more audiobooks on my walks, so definitely adding those on my list.

          HP never gets old! And I can usually recognize that a voice is familiar without being able to place it for a while..
