lots to think about after Nokdu ep 7… it’s a race to see who can mobilise against the king faster now—the prince or minister heo.
re: the supposed reveal that nokdu is the son of the king that everyone is looking for—how does this square with what we saw in the previous episode where his dying mother seemed to think he was hwangtae? could this all be a misunderstanding/red herring? it’s not impossible that there could’ve been some miscommunication. who gave hwangtae the information that nokdu is the son of the king? I feel like the only person who can actually verify this is yoonjo, who doesn’t seem to have been in contact with hwangtae for some time now, and still refers to hwangtae and nokdu as his SONS, i.e., he hasn’t given away who is who.
am I just overthinking this after yesterday’s mega twist?
that’s exactly what i thought – we see hwangtae overhear his mother saying only “it’s all your fault” to nokdu but not the entirety of what she said which is “hwangtae it’s all your fault”.
