HELPPPPP. Is there any #TheUntamed thread I could visit to check out fellow beanies’ flail posts? I want more related content, juseyo. I’m late to the party but I still want to read your thoughts (or squeals, cries, agonies, joy) about the drama. The story got me so goooood ;A; WWX and LWJ are my golden pairing from now on! I love all the not~so~subtle BL feels they gave us. My poor kokoro *~*

    You’re welcome to creep my wall…. When I did my watch—as with most of my drama watching— I did screencap recaps and did my squealing on the Beanie Section as I watched ☺️☺️☺️😉😉😉😏😏😏😏 But you might need to go back a bit because it’s been a couple months and I have yet to do a rewatch screenshot squealing 2.0

      @outofthisworld Hmm…not so sure I can deal with any “discord” relating to c-dramas…
      However, I did just give EverNight 2 a “1” rating (out of 10) due to intense disappointment (esp with Dylan Wang’s “acting”). Thoughts? I don’t mean to offend any diehard DW fans…

          I imagine everybody else will like it. (since I’m usually in the minority). Beautiful cinematography, CGI and nice music. Over acting though. No subtlety, imo. Compared to Untamed, which focused on the actors’ expressions, EN2 spends most of the camera time on beautiful scenery and one second on an actor. Dylan Wang (imo) doesn’t fit the part at all. He takes me right out of the drama. It’s like the director says “okay, now I need an angry expression…okay, now I need a piercing look…okay, now I need a tender look…etc. But it’s all the same.
          And it takes itself too seriously…

            I just watched 40 mins of ep 1, FF to DW’s scenes. Straight away, the directing is weird. DW feels too modern in his mannerisms. It doesn’t help when I keep seeing DMS in period garb. This is one aspect where an actor can either impress the audience or fall short – act convincingly as a character who is opposite from the one in your previous major work.

            Didi needs to tone it down. I have been searching for the right word all this while(even before this show’s trailer came along) and you nailed it, he has a piercing look. It may be natural to him and while it’s an asset for playing angsty, edgy characters, it also limits him.

      I second the discord! I think we talk about something Untamed related daily (among other cdrama related topics or just random everything else). But we post a lot of fanfics, videos, images, and TU related quizzes in the discord 😆 But it’s a discord made by Beanies for Beanies where we can spazz about our love for different dramas.

      Along with the fanwalls that Outie mentioned, @growingbeautifully also has been posting a lot of The Untamed related videos so you can also hit up her fanwall 😍 And feel free to hit up mine as most of my fanwall is TU related lol

      @chakhanseupeu You’re welcome to my fan wall. I wrote quite a bit of ramblings about this drama a while back and shared some of my favorite scenes as well. You can also check the other Untamed beanies’ fan wall on my tag list. I remember there’re lots of Untamed contents back then.

    @chakhanseupeu My fanwall is mostly c-drama OST videos. It’s been awhile since I posted any for Untamed. But the music is gorgeous, as well as the lyrics, as well as they’re all sung by the cast members. Welcome!
    Don’t know about anyone else, but I still watch something related to Untamed every day.

    I recommend listening to the audio drama. It is superrrrr good as well!!! And the characters even have similar if not the same voices!
