So, I killed two succulents in January. I mean, they should tell you when they’re thirsty, starved for light, or feeling a bit frosty by that window. I need signs.
Mr. Egads had a plant I hated, and I swear it took me years but I finally killed it with a steady, yet stealthy diet of cleaning products. Don’t tell anyone. (Seriously, it was ugly, and big, and blight) I have no regrets.
Oh dear. Guilt revisited. I watered my cactus, a tiny green thumb-sized bulb in a tiny flowerpot, and felt a tinge of uneasiness when the water pooled around the plant, and stayed there. I convinced myself the water would sink down eventually, and left. The next morning, I was horrified to find the cactus lying on its side. Dead. I had killed it. It was not my first murder. A few months before, I had watered my yellow daisies in a sudden spurt of zealousness. It was so hot, you see. The midday sun was blazing. By evening, they were all lying on their sides. Limp and, well, dead. I learnt a bitter truth that day. Never water your plants when it is scorching hot. Unless you want to send them to an early grave.

It’s another day and my succulents still haven’t died yet. I think that’s counts as a pretty big win for me.
Love, February~💛

It depends, egads. Does Lord Typo have life insurance? If not, then I want to sweep out his vault of fortunes.

Oh me too, but i didn’t water it enough. It died a sad, dry death and i didn’t notice even though it was on my desk the whole time.

True story: I had a plant that lived beside to the kitchen sink. It died from lack of watering. I’m the worst.
