Ohhhh I adoredThe Night Circus. It was one of the only books I read in my first year of law school and I could not put it down. Have you read her new one yet? It looks really good.
I’ve memorized half of the book, word by word, literally, that’s how much I’ve read it, still can’t get enough of it! That moment when Celia discovers Marco is her competition, and that party when her dress turns the green of his suit (and eyes), and that ship of books and pages and shakespearean sonnets, and that tree of wishes and OMG, his wish over that tree of wishes, AHHHHH, my favorites, ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, I tell you!
I heard so many good things about it and it’s in my amazon cart waiting for that next salary, LOL!
I LOVED the bit with her dress at the ball. Oh man, it was so gloriously written. Her power over words is magnificent, and she made the world in her book seem somehow very lush and also very raw. I wish the circus were real. The part about the former students? And how the one performer was one of them? That slayed me. It was so beautifully done. I really need to reread it again soon.
I started the new one, but I was so busy I never finished it before I had to return it so I’m gonna try again now that I have more time and energy to read. It was equally good, what I read.
I’ve screamed at that part, and still go “Oooh” every time!
She is great, her way with words is extraordinary, I love the use of prose, and rythms and rhymes!
Yes, Tsukiko, the contortionist, that was such a great twist! Now you’re making me want to reread it too!
Good to know, I already love the title, can’t wait to get my hands on it!
We need to start a Beanie book club – so many of us are clearly big readers and have similar tastes. I suspect our love of dramas is partially borne of our love of literature and storytelling.
Thank you ❤
Each of those gifs have a video story actually! The last one is my favorite, we went camping, the whole family together and my sisters and I stayed up all night so we could watch the sunrise, it was so quite and peaceful, just the 3 of us, the whole world asleep, watching the sun come up at exactly 5:43 am.
I was reading, nodding often,
then googled “The Night Circus” oh that’s a book ,
next one oh let’s find out what kind of book is “Goldea Roman Night Absolute”
…google’s results : perfume links and photos, me be like “pwahahaha, that’s totally not a book 🤣”
thanks for sharing this lovely list and gorgeous gifs 😀
LOL!
Yes, I think I told you this but I’m very sensitive to smells, this perfume though, is everything! Like, literally, it’s my coat of confidence, to sprays and I’m good to go, I feel like I can take on anything 😂

We should really, that will be so much fun, especially when we’re in drama-slumps!

I remember it, so I wasn’t that surprise to see a parfume on the list, it’s just that I waited for a book to come up in my google search x)
“it’s my coat of confidence” that’s a nice thing to have 🙂
