Due to the leaked finale that happened a week before it officially aired, the cast and crew got together and film the extended version of #SomedayOrOneDayfor its Taiwan audience who supported legal streaming of the show! And my, this was suuuuch a great ending! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Thank you to the actors and production team for always giving everything you’ve got for your audience.
With this extended ending, my heart is at peace knowing my time travelling lovers get their own HEA 😭😭😭 I love you both.

    Thoughts on the extended ending….

    I love it. So much. Li Zi Wei still became a designer as he was in the 2014-2017 timeline and is using the same studio. The clip started off with Li Zi Wei hearing somebody’s footsteps. He got so excited and then he heard Mo Jun Jie’s voice. His face fell. He thought he was Huang Yu Xuan! And then the next time he heard footsteps… he was so sure it was her!!!! Omg that is soooo cute 😭😭😭😭😭

    I’m sad that all their memories as time travelling lovers disappeared.. The memories of Li Zi Wei meeting the real Huang Yu Xuan in 2010. Then falling for each other more and more, day by day, year by year all disappeared 💔 They were all my favourite parts of the show. But I guess in the new timeline, they’ll create new beautiful memories too 😭😭 So this extended ending tied back to my thoughts on the original ending – that They’ll create new memories in the new timeline…… and these new memories are not so bad either….

    Thank you Huang Yu Xuan for your selfless act…. You gave up your own happiness and ended up saving three people’s lives😭😭😭 𝐓hank you for making such a huge difference! I’m glad fate brought you good karma and you eventually got your own HEA 😭😭

      I was happy with the ending regardless, whether there was an extended one or not (still haven’t watched the extended). Thought it was beautiful just the way it was. The extended to me is an epilogue.
      It’s all good.

        Yes, the extended ending is an epilogue, that in the new timeline, they still managed to find their way back to each other with or without time travelling. And the great thing about the new timeline is that no one’s body is being sacrificed for their love story this time! And Mo Jun Jie’s grandmother is still alive and kicking in Tainan where he still lives! That was such a great news from the epilogue.

    What a beautiful show!! What a ride it has been!!
    everything was so perfect – the actors, the music, OST, visuals, set design. I don’t remember the last time a show got me sucked in so bad.

    Otherwise I would have probably missed this wonderful drama.
    The last episode was also a roller coaster by itself for me just like the drama. I got emotional when the opening theme started because I realized it was going to end. Then, I got teary eyes and my heart broken for a big part of it.
    And I finished the episode with a smile.
    I loved how it ended, I don’t think we could have a better ending.
    I will miss my trio and this show a lot 😭

      Patrick Shih! Such a great actor. I’ve seen that rain scene over and over again, but I still had chills when I actually saw the actual turn around of events on Episode 13. I love Mo Jun Jie. I`m glad that he lived. Unfortunately(????), my fanwall post is filled with Greg Hsu…… But I have posted a clip where they did sound tripping on one of their live steams. He looked incredibly adorable holding his phone up filming him and the gang singing their OSTs with the singers.

        I cried thru the whole last episode but you know what – it had the ending I predicted and hoped for. Such a lovely drama, wow. Kudos for the writing, directing, camera work, musical score, cast and crew. Bravo, Taiwan! (ahem, CLOY paled in comparison).

          It was the best possible outcome. I think we had seen it coming. And I`m so glad that this drama had executed the ending well.

          I liked that the drama explored not only the consequences of the OTP’s time travelling but also their body swapping. Walking in Chen Yun Ru’s shoes on Episode 12 and 13 was the hardest to bear. I’m glad that Huang Yu Xuan understood not to take the comment “it’s okay everything will be alright” lightly to Chen Yun Ru. Because everything is not alright for her. She is a struggling soul trying to love herself when everyone else doesn’t seem to understand and accept her for who she is.
