Riiiight. So I log in to db after a century & a half & i see 207 notifs. 207 times tagged???? who? why? what? how?
I sat for a while thinking if I know 207 people even in my rl.
After the initial phase of shock and confusion, I clicked on the first tag.
AND OFC ITS THE DEAR LOVE FEBRUARY POSTS!!! <3
And they are as beautiful as ever. I'm slowly going through them one at a time & will probably reach the first tag by tomorrow.
Although I don’t have anything to add this year, I’d like to thank all beanies for posting. After the end of a hectic week, these posts made me smile so much. So thank you ^^ Thank you to the bean who started this & those who kept it going!

Sooo last year for love feb, I wrote bunch of stuff.
And i wrote about seasons.
I can’t remember if I mentioned it, but winter is my favorite season.
Even when the cold makes my bones tremble, my fingers numb & my nose red, I still love winter.
This year between my hectic days from Nov till now(& continuing) I didn’t get a lot of opportunity to enjoy myself in winter. You know, soak in the afternoon sun, look at the flowers, birds & bees.
Ours is a hot country & winters come late and leave early.
To add to that, this year we got a lot of rain? At unexpected times. (Global warming you guys!)
Anywho, before I knew it, new year had passed, January was gone with the wind(&rain) and one day I woke up in the middle of February & realized that the air is suddenly warmer & the sun is brighter.
The trees are shedding leaves. The dry wind is blowing around all those dead leaves.
And I felt strange.
Just strange.
I couldn’t put a word to it. But everyday I just stared at the gradual arrival of spring.
And it all felt strange.
One day at dusk, I sat near my window & stared out at the vivid sky. It was streaked with all possible shades of blue, pink and orrange, and any tones in between. It was definitely clearer than during the past few months & yes, extremely beautiful.
But what was I feeling?
“I’m sad”, I thought.
“I’m missing someone/something but I don’t know who/what”
“It’s like someone dear has left from my life”
And I sat there, at the window, with all these muddled feelings and sighing, feeling an empty gap in my heart, until the sky got dark & many twinkling stars came into focus against the pitch black background.
I never figured out the bittersweet melancholic feelings that a passing season put me through, but these were just a few moments when I had paused from to hectic life to look at everything around me.
To Winter. See you next year.
