The following year, he became part of the cast of the top-rating tvN series Smart Prison Living. In 2019, he acted a supporting role in the SBS drama The Fiery Priest. In 2021, he was cast in the tvN sci-fi series L.U.C.A.: The Beginning. He also made a special appearance as a homeless man in the hit 2021 tvN dark comedy Vincenzo, which starred Song Joong-ki in the title role. He also joined the 2021 JTBC drama Monthly Magazine Home.
