Chae Seo-jin made her acting debut in 2006, playing the young version of the character of her real-life sister Kim Ok-bin in MBC’s Over the Rainbow. In 2011, she landed her first musical theater role in a production called Catch a Timid Man. In 2014, she joined Song Hye-gyo and Kang Dong-won in the drama film My Brilliant Life. In 2016, she starred with D.O. and Lee David in Be Positive, a web series produced by Samsung. In 2017, she joined the main cast of KBS2’s novel-based drama Lingerie Girls’ Generation. This was followed by another main role in Channel A’s Coffee, I Leave It to You. In 2019, she became part of the tvN drama Melting Me Softly and also led Olleh TV’s miniseries Yeonnam Family.


Chae Seo-jin attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul and the Korea National University of Arts.
