Chun Jung-myung began his acting career with a small role in the 1999 KBS1 teen drama School 2. In 2005, he joined the SBS series Fashion 70s, which gave him several acting citations including Best New Actor at the 42nd Baeksang Arts Awards. He next appeared in the 2005 film The Aggressives, which won him the Best New Actor trophies at the 6th Busan Film Critics Awards and the 26th Blue Dragon Film Awards. In 2006, he starred in KBS2’s Goodbye Solo and in MBC’s What’s Up, Fox. In 2010, he acted alongside Moon Geun-young in the KBS2 drama Cinderella’s Sister, which earned him an Excellence Award nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2011, he led the casts of the MBC sageuk The Duo and the KBS2 melo-sports-romance series Man of Honor. In 2016, he worked with Ha Ji-won and Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin in the film Life Risking Romance.


Chun Jung-myung studied at Sangji University. He has a black belt in jiu-jitsu.
