Jang Hyuk-jin landed his first screen role in the 2003 romantic comedy film Singles. He has since become active in both TV and film, mostly playing supporting roles. In 2014, he joined OCN’s Reset and tvN’s Misaeng. In 2016, he played a train attendant in the blockbuster zombie film Train to Busan. That same year, he became part of the hit SBS medical drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. In 2017, he was cast in numerous TV series such as SBS’s Suspicious Partner and KBS2’s Mad Dog. In 2019, he acted alongside Jang Nara and Lee Sang-yoon in the SBS mystery melo VIP, which earned him a Best Character Award nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. He also worked with Lee Seung-gi and Suzy in the 2019 SBS action-thriller Vagabond. In 2021, he appeared in the SBS dramas Taxi Driver and Now, We Are Breaking Up. His work in the latter scored him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the SBS Drama Awards.

Jang Hyuk-jin studied theater at the Seoul Institute of the Arts.
