Jeon Bae-soo started his acting career on stage before making his screen debut in the 2004 KBS2 series You Will Know. In 2006, he landed his first big screen role in director Chu Chang-min’s romance melodrama Lost in Love. He has since become active in both TV and film, mostly playing supporting characters. In 2010, he appeared in the award-winning period drama film Masquerade, which was also by Chu Chang-min. He then joined the 2015 adventure drama film The Himalayas and the 2016 acclaimed horror movie The Wailing. In 2017, he became part of the tvN series Forest of Secrets, which took home the Daesang at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2018, he portrayed Park Bo-young’s father in the romantic comedy film On Your Wedding Day. In 2019, acted alongside Gong Hyo-jin and Kang Haneul in the KBS2 series When the Camellia Blooms, which scored him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2022, he starred in the hit Netflix zombie series All of Us Are Dead.
