Park Hoon began his acting career on stage before landing his first screen appearance in the 2008 horror film Death Bell. In 2015, he played Han Ye-ri’s brother in the SBS sageuk Six Flying Dragons. In 2016, he worked with Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-gyo in the hit KBS2 series Descended From the Sun. That same year, he also had small roles in the MBC dramas All’s Well With a Happy Home and Monster. In 2017, he joined the main cast of the KBS2 miniseries Naked Fireman. In 2018, he worked with Hyun Bin and Park Shin-hye in tvN’s Memories of the Alhambra, which earned him a Best New Actor nomination at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2019, he was cast as one of the main characters in the SBS sageuk Haechi, which scored him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2020, he was nominated for an Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards for Nobody Knows.
