Park In-hwan began his decades-long acting career in 1965 through the TV series The Long Voyage Home. He also became active as a theater actor, winning top acting prizes for his work in The Tempest, The Cherry Orchard, and A Good Person. In 1989, he starred in the KBS2 series The Region of Calm, which gave him an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards. In 1990, he took home another Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for My Sister, Mong-shil. That same year, he made his big screen debut in the film I Stand Every Day. In 2000, he led the SBS drama Wang Rung’s Land, which earned him a Top Excellence Award at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2006, he joined the main cast of KBS2’s Famous Princesses, which scored him a Top Excellence Award nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2010, he was nominated for an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards for the hit family weekend series Three Brothers. In 2020, he headlined the KBS1 daily drama Brilliant Heritage, which won him a Top Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2021, he starred alongside Song Kang in tvN’s Navillera.


Park In-hwan studied theater and film at Sorabol College of the Arts, which is now known as Chung-Ang University.
