Yoon Hyun-min played for the Hanwha Eagles in 2005 and the Doosan Bears in 2006 before quitting the sport in 2007. He made his acting debut in the 2009 OCN series Joseon Mystery Detective Jung Yak-yong. In 2014, he became part of the KBS2 dramas Age of Feeling and Discovery of Romance, which scored him a Best New Actor nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2015, he landed his first leading role in the MBC family drama My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol, which enjoyed high viewership ratings. His work in the series won him Best New Actor at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2017, he starred in the KBS2 legal romance drama Witch’s Court, opposite Jung Ryeo-won. They won Best Couple at the KBS Drama Awards for the chemistry they showed in the series. In 2019, Yoon Hyun-min led the cast of the Netflix sci-fi romance My Holo Love.
