The male lead of 2020 dramas #TheRomanceOfTigerAndRose and #IntenseLove, Ryan made me watch another show he was in, #ResetLife, and it was sooo cute, sooo great, so satisfying. I did not think I would love it so much when I decided to watch this drama for him. I got more than what I had asked for.
Not only I got a swoony and funny Ryan, but I ended up gushing over the OTP, cheering for the awesome tough cookie female lead (who’s got the cutest dimples ever!), loving the side characters as well (in my mind Zhang Man and Chen Yi Bo are dating), and getting a very satisfying ending! This show did all that in 5 episodes!
I can’t wait to see more from Ryan! What an awesome rising actor! You deserved all your lead roles.

Hades, The cure to the the harsh fall is watch Ryan in Reset Life….. it’s got horrible subs (I detested it with a passion!) but for the message it wanted to deliver to the audience remained clear. You just need to fill some gaps between the godawful subs and interpretation of what they could mean but not bad, I would say. And Ryan is still swooony.

But I think the reason this is working is because these gorgeous actors pick interesting and swoony roles. Like they’re not asshats, that alone wins me. Ryan’s roles in Tiger and Rose and Reset Life were all about helping the out the female lead succeed and his eyes legit go 😍 like this; it’s impossible not to fall in love. 😖 And with what little I saw from Intense Love (till ep 3), he wasn’t asshat either, just sort of reserved but he went to see her and tended her wound(!)…… I really appreciate when actors pick out roles that are not too jerkyish and asshats.
That’s the same with Greg Hsu… His roles in Someday or One Day and Love Storm… They were no where near asshats but just men in love 😍 and always wanted to do everything for their girls.

Yaaaaaay!!!! My glad you’ve taken a liking to this new but hot boy, My River!!!!! You will love him more in Reset Life. And this is where I watched it. Horrible subs but I pushed through for Ryan! Actually even with horrible subs it was a great show. The message it wanted to convey was delivered well. It’s such a heartfelt 5-episode drama 🥰🥰
