Watching Jang Nara’s drama VIP. How can a drama be this intriguing!

Remember War of the son What a masterpiece! Namgoong Min slayed it as the villain. But what is with the sad ending?

NGM shone very bright my eyes hurt in that one. That ending.. 😭

      When the villain outshines everyone

Still one of the most memorable NGM moments for me. The other one would be Beautiful Gong-shim.

He was good as the villain in that one.

Just finished Alice. And I am really thankful I am bad at physics. It is a whole scary world, just imagining it. The multi-universe thing freaked me out. The drama is great and thrilling, though.

    borderland?

japan used to have 1 new theme for such killer series every year.. bored of the concept honestly 🙁

    is this about part 2?

I mean the Korean drama staring Kim Hee-sun. It is about time travel and multi-universe. So when engulfs in that theme, I get a little bit nervous about the idea. But the drama is done really well and got me entertained.

Heartbeat continues to be my fun watch for the week. Having a vampire intimidated by our powerful heroine is ground breaking and creative. Taccyeon is on fire.

I agree 100%!! Heartbeat is becoming the drama I’m most excited to get to in the week😊 I find it’s brand of comedy really funny, including their relationship dynamic – I mean, even that hair-flip from FL’s goodbye bow that whacked him in the face😂

Poor Woo-hyeol is doing as told because he is scared she might sell his house. Why don’t they turn the mansion into some sort of hotel or guesthouse? It will be really fun.

I find Miraculous Brothers messier and darker than expected. Anyone thinking the same, or is it just me?

Here in the US we are still waiting for the first two episodes to be released subbed on Viki.
Many have commented that the last poster was a tip that it could be heavier than anticipated.

    3
    1

does it mean good or bad? is the drama good

    2
    1

Yes, but the genre tags are right, so it is expected, I guess. The only confusion is the synopsis which is not what the drama plot feels like given Ep 1 set up.

    1
    1

Yes, I entered the drama following the synopsis without checking the genre. Yet after watching, I feel like it is way heavier than expected, especially after watching episode 2.

Heartbeat is making my heart beat from the thrill. It has been a while since I was that invested, watching a drama, hoping they keep it up all the way. Can’t we get the cohabitation, already?

Any recommendations for a light-hearted drama available on YouTube?

If you want to try cdramas, two of my favorites from Dec and January are Hi Venus and Meet Yourself both available on youtube. I’ll also recommend, Day of Becoming you, You are my glory and the currently airing Hidden Love.

hidden love novel will also do. it is short and full of feels

The killer had better take Soon-ae off his radar. I want a happy ending for the quartet. Also, I wonder why Chung-ah wants to leave the village. Is it because she is pregnant or because of the killer?

The best way to describe this week in Romantic Doctor 3 is “the situation is a complete mess.” Dong-ju is acting out of character and Eun-jae’s anger blinds her. Poor Woo-jin is stuck in between.

It is Dr.Cha Jinman all over again. Exhausting to watch it! Such a disappointment.

Agree. The show is destroying its characters to fill the last 4 episodes.

It is worth the wait. My perfect stranger looks like an exciting ride. There was some confusion in male lead’s time travel journey but I hope it gets clearer next time.

yeahhh… hi fi i loved it too… its looking promising time travel drama…
and if i may ask.. what confusion you are talking about in male lead time travel journey?
i hav confusion abt the very last one which throws them back…

When we first saw him, he was going to year 2037, then we saw him go to the past and once again the present. When he told the man wrongly accused about his story, I got it.

      1

I think in the last scene he was going back to the past after stopping the man from committing suicide and she was devastated enough to follow without giving the situation any thoughts and both ended in 1987

she dint follow him.. his car which was supposed to go from 2021 to 1987, abt to hit and he tried his best to prevent but it does hit and she eventually reaches to 1987…
but my doubt is.. why the car (being 2021) was invisible to her (in 2021) while passing the tunnel.. we could see the vibration and she could hear the song playing but why the car wasnt visible… am kind of confused abt it.

Hats off to The Good Bad Mother Premiere. That is exactly what I needed to get out of the drama slump I have been experiencing from all those frustrating endings and dramas that go stray midway.

Bora Deborah continues to be fun but can’t we hype things up already?

I want the show to pick up the pace and get more of our leads together without the ex-boyfriend involved.

      3
      1

oh yes i agree there too..but stil i loved the way show is taking time in letting her sort her feelings so deeply.. not like today she broke up tomorrow she is all fit and fine..
it was relatable to see her vulnerable side who is crying mess and heart broken and now when she will be shown coming out of it bit by bit.. winning over those moments with her fighting spirit it would be worth watching and and entertaining too…

just my 2 cents cause i am absolutely head over heel for this show

You have a point. I know heartbreaks are hard to deal with and it takes time. But it is beginning to turn ugly, especially with her visit to her ex-boyfriend and asking to get back together. This scene got on my nerves

sadly, it happens more often that you would like to believe…..

It was one hell of a ride. Oasis has come to an end. I think I need therapy after bearing with all this melo and infuriating events. I really wanted to see a wedding at the end but I couldn’t get it.

I’ve only been watching intermittently and reading the recaps and comments to fill in the gap but holy shit ep 16 was one of the most intense episodes of a kdrama that I’ve watched. Especially towards the end there, the tension was palpable through the screen.

It’s convinced me to give Oasis a proper go now from the start!

    2
    1

Yeah, the tension was high throughout the episode. We got barely any peace.

Go ahead and watch it but it requires patience and mental strength so you won’t throw things at the screen 😂😂😂

I hate the stepmother. Can’t we focus more on Sung-han and the three friends’ camping scenes? We have a lot of interesting characters. So, why resort to that time-worn plot line?

3
3

Is it me or could he have avoided a lot of stress and left the step mum looking stupid, if he had just directed the husband to another law firm and not willingly stepped into a trap he could see from a mile away. I am struggling to see why he was interested in taking the case.

    3
    1

I agree with you. Taking on the case wasn’t a smart move. Sung-han said it himself, it is bound to be messy, and they will become the talk of the town. The only reasonable reason as to why he took on the case would be to defend the man since he is sure he is innocent or something.

      3
      1

I assume he’s taken the case/bait because he has a plan for how it will bring the stepmom or his sister’s lawyer down, or some other motive re his sister’s death. I’m content to wait and see what happens.

What a breathtaking ending scene! Pandora is constantly picking up the pace and doesn’t drag it on. We now know the one behind what happened. Interestingly, the battle will start sooner than expected.

I wish we had seen more of Seon-jae and Gun-hoo’s bromance. Also, a karaoke scene with them singing the breakup song would be hilarious. Can’t we forget about love triangle and make them best friends?

17

After going back and forth, it looks like the writers finally remembered the purpose of the story at the last minute and gave us another nonsensical finale with the sudden tone shift.

It isn’t a red herring but actually royal consort Ji is the one going around hitting people with metal balls. Hee-jae is a witness and the next target is Haeng-soon. Why on earth do that, writer-nim?

Another drama going downhill in the second half #StrangersAgain

i was going to complain about the drama stating the couple took their dog to Hawaii before… not without leaving it in QUARANTINE for 6 months!!

I have more issues besides the dog’s case😂😂😂

Can we leave the curse and the palace politics behind and dive into the budding romance? I am getting love in the moonlight vibes and I am not complaining at all. Can’t next week come now?
