I’ve started Like Flowers in the Sand
to help return things to normal. I loved the interaction between the 2 leads Du-Sik and Baek-Du. Seeing Lee Joo-Myoung (Seung-Wan of Twenty Five Twenty One) back on the screen again was like meeting an old friend after a long absence. Things were looking good…

…until ep 4 and the police interrogation scene. Yes, it was supposed to be a lighthearted innocent scene about 40,000 won (~$30 USD) – but that was enough to put my brain into a tailspin. I don’t think very highly of the Korean police system at this moment.

All my anger came back the moment they stopped the match and announced in front of the entire village that they had to take him to the station.
Can’t they assess what’s happening. Couldn’t they wait 2 min for the match to end and talk to him in private.
It’s not like he is going to run away anywhere. Nor is he the prime suspect. He was just a witness??
I don’t want to see cops or the investigation here. I hope we don’t see much of it anymore.
