Thanks for sharing! I haven’t started this yet, but I remember being apprehensive when I heard about the drama, though when I heard Park Eun-bin was cast I felt a lot better. She always injects so much pathos and realness into her roles. I think it was really smart of her to choose to build the character organically rather than through imitation, which can sometimes veer into caricature, even if the actor does not intend to do so.
I compared her study of autism to a doctor’s study; she did it to play a art convincingly; we do it to diagnose a patient accurately. She’s super intelligent.
Agreed. The thing I’ve noticed with her is that even where she (arguably) has a smaller role, like Age of Youth she truly commits to making a character grounded in reality. In both that and Brahms I think her roles could very easily have been over-the-top in the hands of a lesser actor. They were both frustrating characters but even when I wanted to throw something at my screen, I understood where they were coming from, and that was all her doing. I can’t wait to start this drama, because it sounds like it’s doing things right.
She’s good in everything she’s done. I also saw her in The Kings affection and Sonyoh like Brahms. She learned how to play the violin for the latter. She STUDIES her parts. Like I said above—extremely intelligent.

Super interesting interview with Park Eun Bin on how she became Attorney Woo. Spoiler: she didn’t talk to, watch, or copy any person with autism in real life. 🤯🤯🤯 https://www.tvguide.com/news/extraordinary-attorney-woos-park-eun-bin-playing-woo-young-woo/

Yeah, I found interesting she read about it and then made her own character.

I checked her body of work and found that EAW is my first time seeing her act. She is undeniably extremely talented.
