I wish you… a beautiful escape, to another world with dragons, chaebols, magic…. or maybe just one with quiet moments and a place to breathe in deeply, and soak up new scents and clean air.

    I finished rereading the Hobbit the other week. I wish I could bottle that book and drink it daily.
    I like to read something to unwind before bed so I just started the Chronicles of Narnia from the beginning again after the Hobbit. Then I’ll do LOTR. 😛

      And gosh, right? It just warms the bones in the best of ways. (I also started it right after reading an absolutely horrible book, so it made the experience all the more delightful. I swear I nearly teared up out of sheer relief reading about the door of the hobbit hole.)

      And ooh, Chronicles! I just started rereading The Magician’s Nephew yesterday. It’s been so long since I’ve read the series, and heck, I’ve missed it.

        I miss you too!! I hope everything is going well for you 😄 Are you reading any good books at the moment? The Hobbit is always a comforting place to revisit

        This is so, so silly but I haven’t really been online much because I adopted a new dog and while she’s adjusting I don’t want her to feel like “wow you leave me all day and then stay on the phone/laptop when you’re home” 😅 She’s rather introverted though and is just happy to hang out so I know she won’t be bothered

          I aaaam! I’ve been rereading a lot of Austen lately, and dear @mindy introduced me to Six Of Crows, and I’m the mother of the best murder babies now.

          And awwww, that doesn’t seem silly at all! 💖 Congrats on your new loved one!

            Austen is always oh so nice. And awesome, I have that book but haven’t started it yet but these adoptable murder babies have me curious haha
