I know everyone’s been posting about this but I feel the need to do it too. Seeing Kang Tae smile and laugh so much is SO heartwarming. He looks so much younger. And for the boy who grew up too quickly, I think that’s exactly what we need to see.

That moment when Hyung reminded Kang-tae that their mother showered him with affection too. That moment when Kang-tae realized he was biased towards the negative memories. That moment where I cried hard enough to need a tissue.

    This hits hard. I was watching with my mom and she said “Yeah. He just didn’t know it. Kids never know how much their parents love them.” Added to my emotions and just bawled.

      This was a hard watch.
      The moment he realized his mum cared for him as much as his brother’s that she was also warm to him and loved him. When he said “I miss mum”, oh, my poor heart 🙁

          KSH in tears just gets me immediately bawling, him clutching onto Sang-tae and crying into his back as he realises that his Mum loved him all this time 😭

    At first I saw this as a ploy from the writer to make me sympathize with the mom. Then I realized that it was possible that Kang-tae’s memories of his mother were tainted by his feelings of anger and resentment. A very emotional scene.

    It is definitely a keeper! Way back when this drama was airing, I knew I would like it and posted it on my wall incessantly. It was the baby chick that made me stay. Can does all he can to save it from certain doom! I adopted him and that chicken from then on.

Day 7: Movie that makes me happy
I recently watched The Ant Bully for nostalgia reason and it just gave me so many warm and fuzzy feelings. The ants’ sense of community and love and… together-ness that they teach to the main human protagonist. So much love and passion in this movie. Please watch for the warm fuzzies. Plus the ants are gorgeous. (Admittedly I had and may still have a crush on the wizard ant voiced by Nicholas Cage).

So uh… this scene freaked me out more than the sleep paralysis demon scene. Because it’s almost relatable, I guess? I haven’t seen my autistic brother in almost 2 years. Every time Kang Tae explodes at him, I felt bad. Because I know how hard it is to keep cool. I explode at my brother a lot, but I never remember him ever hurting me. So yeah. I miss him.

    I found it scary as well. I mean if there was no one to stop ST could have kept hitting GT until he got tired out. And the way we later realized ST just played GT’s words at him.

    And yes whenever this drama shows something relatable (which was ep 4 for me) it really affects deeply.

I\’m enjoying It\’s Okay Not to be Okay so far. It\’s just the sexual tension scenes make me pretty uncomfortable. Or has it always been like that for me…? Yea, romantic dramas aren\’t really my thing.
