    Lee Hye-young is terrific! She has such a commanding screen presence and she’s nailing this role to the T.
    I just love the abundance of women in this show, and that they’re all different and so well fleshed-out.

Catching up on Mother. It’s really not an easy watch, but despite the heavy subject matter it’s so great to see a (non-romance) drama revolve around women. Just… my heart.

          Personally I think it’s a good side dish! 😀 It’s mostly about Mi Mo and her love life but each of her three best friends has her own story line. (One of the reasons I like this drama despite its flaws; it’s centered on girlfriends, yes please!!!)
          I don’t like the second male lead and he gets a frustrating amount of air time but I ADORE Jung Kyung Ho and Jang Na Ra in this together. So it’s a lot of fun and very enjoyable, but it’s also ok to have on while doing something else! 🙂

started watching One More Happy Ending again on a whim and Jang Na Ra and Jung Kyung Ho are so great together! Too bad that that boring second lead is gonna take up so much time, will fastforward him.

what I really like about this and Mother is that they only have instrumental score and no pop songs at random intervals👌🙌💯

I’m a bit sad that recently the shows I love or that I’m interested in don’t really seem to be recapped on dramabeans 🙁 or maybe it’s just this batch of dramas and it feels like forever to me haha

        That how I approach most dramas. I know nothing and give the first ep a fighting chance. This drama is a bit different given my love for Kim Jung-hyun.

watched the first episode of Misty and I was into from the first five minutes; acting, directing, music… Go Hye Ran is serious goals and omo Kim Nam Joo and Ji Jin Hee are HOT together good lord

    I just finished the 1st episode and lawddd, Ji Jin Hee is smoking but then again, when is he ever not.
    You know that feeling of satisfaction when you watch amazing, mature actors take up roles and execute them well? That’s what I felt watching Kim Nam Joo. I’m in love 😍

          Protect the Boss is one of my all time favorite dramas. Have rewatched it maybe fifty times. I think it is one of the best examples of the human interactions that korean dramas are exceptionally good at depicting.
