10 episode only, not dragging. Reminds me of “Itazura na Kiss”, in which female lead finds her career path following her love.

      Haha as much as I AGREE with you on how FL is belittled, she is too dependent on ML, at first she wants to be a nurse just to tag along w her husband… Only after a while that’s she realize how difficult it is to choose this career path and her passion for taking care of the patients…
      I still ADORE it from the bottom of my heart. :)) :)) :)) Kiss holds a very special place in my heart, like everyone with their BOF syndrome… 😀

      On this new drama, FL also becomes a nurse after meeting ML. She happens to find a women passes out on the street and screamed for help, ML comes to rescue and performs CPR and explains that he’s a doctor. FL said that “the moment he saw ML saves that woman, she fell in love. Maybe with ML, maybe with the dream of being a nurse”, which I find her choice of career is more deep and meaningful than FL in Kiss I guess. ^^

Beautiful time with you – Cdrama, I just finished this one.
Such a good youth drama, very innocent/fluffy.
All actors/actresses are so cute and look young as high schoolers.
Will there be season 2?

I just went to see Peninsula after half a year avoiding cinema.
It’s a nice watch but still can not top its prequel.
Anyway, this mukbang interview by Korean Englishmen is a must-watch.

    Btw, I have problem accepting the facts that not many new Kdrama/movie fans know of Kang Dong Won, as I watched the movie with my sister’s friends (all under 20s).

      It’s surprising that kmovie fans don’t know of KDW but kdrama fans have a reason that he hasn’t been in dramas for more than a decade. I haven’t seen him in anything either because I prefer watching movies over dramas but I know he’s big only through the news.

        I knew him from Kdramas, I’m old :D.
        It’s true he did not appear much in dramas for years.
        And we have more access to Kdramas here than movies actually. Guess that explains why…

So it is the 3rd time I rewatched “60 days designated survivor” in 2020.
I miss President Park and his team… in these hard days.
And every time I rewatch, I find new reasons why I love it so much.

    This is such a great but underrated drama. Inspiring and brave leadership is hard to come by especially in challenging time like now. A rewatch is due.

      I just rewatched episode 1,2 last night, and many more details fell into places. Especially why President Yang decides to sacrifice Min. Park and pushed on finishing the FTA with US… Always in awe rewatching this drama.

    It’s an excellent drama. I enjoyed the original, but thought this was a tighter, high quality, better remake.

      I heard many reviewed the same.
      I haven’t watched the American show myself, and I won’t since it heavily depends on season format, it will not be satisfactory to me, in storywise.

      He’s so attracting and distracting!!! His face, his eyes, his walk,… I swear everytime I rewatched Beauty inside or Because… I discovered a new facial expression or angle of his.
      So… you will definitely see more Se Hee or Do Jae on fan wall… 😉

        Shallowness aside, SKJ’s character is thoroughly sweet and understated, and he does it beautifully.
        Really liked this drama, but kind of checked out on the OTP in the last couple of episodes – but it was the writing’s fault, not the acting. Both leads are flawless and the ensemble is wonderful. Altogether, it’s a really nice and warm watch

          I like “warm and feel good” drama.
          Actually I tend to like PMY’s characters more than her male co-stars’ characters. Except for Healer. I’m curious to see how Seo Kang Joon acts opposite her.
          Will give it a watch. 😀

    Someday or One Day is still my favourite so far! I’m always happy to see people spreading love for this drama 💚💚💚
    Also had a lot of fun watching Hyena and Extracurricular. The King was wickedly fun, but it really was a hot mess…

      I tend to watch shows on Netflix now, so next might be Extracurricular. Maybe Hyena too given how everyone gave high praises everywhere.
      And you don’t know how I kept talking about Someday and begging my friends to give it a try. Sadly it’s not available on Netflix so not so accessible. Then I watched King expecting something extraordinary like Someday… but its story is vain, lack of logic and emotions… Its ending is the worst, compared to Someday (where everything is wiped away and restart but it felt so satisfying…). I had to rewatch Someday right after King ended last week. :))

        Someday is really well written, whereas The King… is pretty to look at. Fangirling over The King and sharing wild theories here on DB made it a lot more fun!
        I usually watch on Netflix and Viki (for airing dramas, Netflix in my region isn’t into kdrama)

        You haven’t seen it before? Watch it! Now! I think it’s arguably his most magnetic performance to date. Yes, there’s tragedy, but it’s worth it.

        But I loved the show as a whole back when I watched it and it was my first time watching LMK, so it didn’t hurt me quite as much as it hurt other people, I think. He’s definitely the shining star of the first two episodes, though, and it’s noticeable when that light goes out.

I’m now at ep 7 of 60 days. Quite a long time since Forest of Secret to have such politic/crime K-drama that this thrilling. The only complaint, NIS team! Why not share/report anything to Blue House?

    1. Major Jang (aka Sergeant Snoopy Grumpy in DOTS) scarified himself to capture that North Korean terrorist alive. Only for NIS to let him killed off that easily!?!
    2. If the NIS teams already believe that Assembly Oh is not “miraculously alive”, at least report that much. Na Kyeong is the least selling character to me so far.
    3. “Prosecutor Seo Dong Jae” is now much less talkative, yet so threatening just from those stares…

    I watched it last Sat afternoon, thinking “what a great length”, 12 episode drama is a piece of cake to marathon and finish within Saturday evening. Nice!
    Little did I know what I dragged myself into!
    Urg I hate the fact that they left us at that kind of cliff-hanger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Best moments for me are whenever Sun-oh rings Jo-jo’s alarm. And realizing that he is the one who rings her alarm on that crossroad is one big step to solidify the fact that I’m #teamSun-oh. Drama you must bring back his sunny smiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    And I really love the concept of this story lines, how it sets up realistic changes in human life. It feel like I just live through another “facebook” phase… to the point it’s scary!
    Anyone watches the manga? Do you recommend it?

Coming back after not watching any new Kdramas for 7 months because of DR. JOHN. JI SUNG (heart-eyes!!!!) and Lee Se Young are great there! Sadly no recaps and not many beanies following it.

    IMO, comparing to Beautiful Mind, the last medical drama I watch, Yo Han character and the stories built around him are much more compelling. So, sorry Jang Hyuk, I love to have Ji Sung as a doctor more than I do you!

    3. I do recommend this as i find it entertaining. Fair warning that this is not a normal romcom. Its a makjang. Its a mashup of multiple genres. Theres mystery, violence, a bit of procedural, romcom etc2. Its OTT and i think its intentionaly made to be OTT. Just dont think too much while watching and dont try rationalizing everything. Hahaha
