Beanie level: Chaebol’s poor doppelganger

What is this ?! LOL.
Good luck Gong-myung in joining the family ! Haha….

Oh he becomes her secretary and driver, that’s why! This is hilarious. Can’t wait to watch the episode/s!!

Yes, the family poses like they’re supermodels in front of Se-ra’s chairwoman car, and GM, I’m sure, is forced to take a pic. I think that’s Mom’s handphone. It tickles me to stitches.

Looking at the way her parents pose tells me she defo got her quirky personality from them hehe.

HAPPY NEW YEAR BEANIES !!
May 2020 bring us more awesome k-dramas than ever !

I\’ll be watching the last ep of Life On Mars as the year is changing….

I love the \”losers\” ajusshis in My Ajusshi. And Sanghoon, the eldest brother really grows on me. Park Ho-san is really good playing him.

2

My Ajusshi is gonna end tragically, isn\’t it ? Up to ep 8.

Btw, I like the actor who plays the eldest brother. ☺

    Do you like tragic endings?

    0
    1

Certainly not. I much prefer happy endings. But I’m not allergic to tragic endings, either.

      1
      1

Hmm idk if it would be a spoiler if I tell you if its tragic or not but rest assured you’ll be satisfied.

        5
        1

A satisfying ending is a more important criteria than tragic or happy endings. Glad if it is.

          1
          0

    Keep watching.

Keep watching! Also what is for you a tragic end? Because while watching that show i never wondered about tragic end and for me the end was as beautiful as it could be and should be.

    5
    1

A tragic end for My Ahjusshi for me is if Donghoon or Jian or both end up totally broken and feels defeated by life.

      0
      1

Or if either one if them dies.

        0
        1

None of this happens but i think that’s the whole point of the show that you can fight for your happiness, it is within your reach. That is also what they teach each other, so it would be self defeating if it went for an ending you suggest or like fear! Keep watching! It is a wonderful show.

          1
          0

Tragic is the last adjective that can be used for its ending!
It actually has one of the most beautiful endings in my opinion.

    5
    1

Oh good to know ! I won’t feel as anxious now while watching it.

I worry about Jang Ki-yong’s (don’t really know his character’s name) obsession w/ Jian.

      2
      1

Oh we were worried about him too but I’d like to say most of the characters grew into a better self and somehow found their way in life and he was one of them.
At least that’s we wanted for him since he is not a bad person, the circumstances turned him into such a young man filled with anger. Deep down he has a kind broken heart.
Hope I didn’t talk too much dear^^ when it comes to MA I can write for days😂 But I try not to.
        enjoy watching🥰

Life on Mars is such a joy to watch. There\’s no bad or weak episodes. Up until ep 10, they\’re all equally good and compelling. Kudos to the writers and director.

Is it because they cause more pains for the nice, kind, gentle male leads ? Most probably. My heart is with the male leads, and I hate that they\’re being played by the female leads. #myajushiep3

OK, so I have the same problem w/ Jian in My Ajushi as Yooryung in Catch The Ghost. Although I know where they\’re coming from, I can\’t feel that much symphathy for them. #myajushiep3

Ugh ! Life On Mars is just awesome 💯. Up till ep 8 I would put it in the same class as Signal and Forest of Secrets. Let\’s hope the 2nd half is as good, or even better.

Omg, I\’m in love with Life on Mars ! Only up to ep 3. I\’m completely taken by the end of ep 2.

I know beanies raved about it. But tvN Asia is just airing it now so I’m late. Hehe….

Yes. LOM was a wonderful drama.

At this point it’s an understatement ! The drama is one of the best. I hope it continues to be so.

I loved LoM! Such a winning bromance and my first introduction to Jung Kyung Ho!

I’ve known him for quite some time. He’s a wonderfully versatile actor. Check him out in Heartless City.

Can and will Hyunji ever forgive Sunwoo ? #SecretBoutiqueEp11

For what happened to her mom? I won’t, but I think she will. Writer will make her.

    1
    2

Yes. She’s been shown to be very ‘perceptive’.

      1

He chose Jenny and put her in jail.

      1
      1

Oh, Hyun Ji already said she expected that from him. She read him like an open book. I don’t think she would hold that against him. More disappointed, I guess.

        1
        1

I certainly hope so ! Maybe Sunwoo can redeem himself by saving her mom.

          1

Omg, ep 10 of Secret Boutique ! The angst, the reveal, the twist ! The relationships and characterizations are actually more compelling than the all machinations.

5
7

I did not see that coming. Now Jung Hyuk just gets 1000x more interesting.

    3
    1

Yes ! Before his confession to Sunwoo (that’s an intense scene !) I thought he felt betrayed by Jenny, thus his attempt to get close to his mother.

      2
      1

Jung Hyuk broke my heart so much. He really cares for Jenny 😭😭

    3
    2

Actually all 4 lead characters broke my heart. Jenny, Jung Hyuk, Sun Woo, Hyun Ji.

I really didn’t know what to do after watching this ep!! To scream or to squeal?? (But not the kinda squeal because of (potential but I hope not) romance but the kind ‘OMG this drama is incredible and I need more!!)

      2
      0

I know right!?? The politics are interesting but what makes the drama so much more compelling are all the factors that you mentioned!! Gaaahh and to think I almost didn’t watch it!!

    1

I love ep 9 of Secret Boutique. Jenny casually remarking \”No romance in the workplace\” is the best scene 😅. I wish for more of those scenes. I think I know where the show is going with those three.

3
5

Ooo… why? Do tell. I was curious about that too.

    0
    1

About where it’s going ? Before, I thought Sunwoo would be in a situation where he’d have to choose between Jenny and Hyunji.

Now I think Jenny would decide to protect Hyunji partly because she likes her and mostly because Sunwoo likes her. She doesn’t want him to loose Hyunji. She owes him that much at least.

      1
      2

Ah… so Jenny saying no romances in the office was just a tease? Now that makes perfect sense. Thanks. 😁

        0

OhMyGod yiur theroy seems so plausible. Before i too thiught that Sun Woo would have yo choose between the two but now.. your new theroy is making a lot of sense

        1
        0

Yes I snorted out loud at this!
There ought to be more scenes like this and the baseball where Hyun ji gets both of them to relax!!

Happiness is little things like seeing Kim Jae-young in two different dramas at the same time. 😄

7
3

I’m having a crush on Kim Jae-young in Secret Boutique, though certainly not like his crush on Kim Sun-ah. I pray for you, badass Puppy, to get over it since it will only bring you heartbreak.

I think there are a couple of members in that Kim Jae-young club. πŸ™‚

I wish there were a place here where we could discuss Secret Boutique or fangirling over Badass Puppy. Or maybe only a few beanies watching it.

I curse that KBS World don\’t broadcast Camellia and Nokdu. Why KBS ?? 😩

3
2

Idk about Nokdu but Camellia is on Netflix so there’s noooooo way they would broadcast it on YouTube. But…I mean…if you’re not in the US surely they could implement a regional block?

Yoonbok / Hyena in Mother is such a precocious child. My heart aches for her….

Watching Mother is really an emotional rollercoaster. One minute I\’m full of anger & disbelief that such a mother exists and the next I bawl my eyes out wondering how Yoonbok can be such a child.
