This drama is the reason why I can’t stop smiling these days! After TKL, I wanted to watch something lighter, charming and funny. And this drama has all of those and more. 😍

Just read some of the translation for TKL script. RinSan in the script was not as ambiguous as the one we got in the drama. I wonder who decided to make it so? 😒
We could have avoided shipping war.

    Maybe if they didn’t make it ambiguous, some viewers will leave the show? I couldn’t see any other reason why some drama wants to create the possible of ship wars aside from for some sort of promotion /hype of the drama. In short, the production just don’t fully confident on the content of their drama, and think no one will pay attention to their drama without this kind of thing. Well I can say it has succeeded though, because a non-viewer like me also interested to know who gets the girl at the end. lol.

      Yes but the rating did not improve though. For me it’s frustrating because they have wasted such amazing chemistry between Yoona and HJH. I would prefer if it followed the novel, throw in some plot twist to mend any weaknesses or unclear situation in the novel and voila ~ perfect!

          Siwan is certified one of the best idol actors out there. Yoona served fine in this drama, imo, & even Jonghyun the model turned actor did a good job too! i have nothing but praises for the trio. they did way better than other usual idol casts. 👍

So apparently the script for TKL is released to the public and RinSan shippers are upset with some of the scenes being edited out. I need translations! 😭

    Eh…did I read correctly? RinSan shippers upset? I guess that means those scenes that were edited were the romantic moments between Rin and San. *sigh*

    I am about 70% into my rewatch and the signs were all there. It
    has always been Rin who San was attracted to and fell in love with. San didn’t recognize her own feelings initially but as the characters around her including us viewers will attest, it is obvious she likes Rin more than a friend.

    All Won San camp had were the promotional posters, teasers and that ISW was the lead. As for the drama, the only part which some might get confused is why San would return to Won despite having the opportunity to escape elsewhere. That’s not difficult to explain when we know how sacrificing and selfless San is as a friend.

    Anyway, will this script lay to rest WonSan shippers’ denials? I highly doubt. It’s like the way some people still insist the earth is flat even when satellite images are available.

      A lot of people talking about in twitter, mostly koreans since the script is not translated yet. But some who can understand said that the script was very detailed and San’s feelings were clear.

      I have no expectations when it comes to WonSan shippers. They can be angry about it and blame other people but don’t ever blame the actors. They did their job and what happened in the editing room was not their fault. I highly doubt that they, in some ways, influenced the direction of the story. I don’t think they are at that level.

      I hope breathlesssurvival would translate the script. They have already provided the links to her.

          Mostly it’s about their acting skills. Compared to ISW, HJH and Yoona did not manage to deliver their emotions very well (I disagree with this, btw). If the script itself provided confusion to Yoona for eg, she said she didn’t know who San loves until the very end, would you blame her for being indecisive? I think someone tried to balance the intimate scenes, to give false hope and to increase the rating by showing San having affection towards Won. The fact that San said she likes him is being pointed out many times by WonSan shippers.

          HJH is more to the fact that he was too stiff. I think Rin is written that way and he conveyed his feelings through action rather than words/face expression. Won’s character is more complex. He was not raised in a very conducive environment, with his parents, being half-blood prince and constantly alone until he met Rin. I just feel that he has more materials to work with. You can’t expect Won to be stiff.

          Back then, when the kiss scene happened, the amount of hate HJH received in his IG was very upsetting. These people can’t differentiate between reel and real. A simple “I hate you” instead of “I hate Rin” conveyed so much. They were just actors, what happened in the drama did not reflect who they really are.

            Don’t get bothered by this people. They are butt hurt because HJH stole the show.

            Rin was a saint but you know that can be the most boring role in the world. HJH made it work, I really don’t have to extol his acting ability further.

            There will always be deluded fans. I’m sure Yoona and HJH are experienced enough to know how to handle these things.

            I’ve been watching HJH in various programs and the vibe I get is that this is one smart guy. I’ve just read breathlesssurvival’s latest entry on her blog. I think I know why he’s kinda keeping a low profile.

            Agreed. I will never entertain these kind of people. The more you retaliate, the more they like it.

            HJH is smart, I get it from WGM. He is a problem solver and unbelievably calm. I remember he said that back in school, he was always either the top or among the top students. By the way, which entry you are referring to? The one in the breathless blog? I liked the fact that he keeps a low profile. He drives everyone mad everytime he updates his IG. Most of the comments were all about missing him, calling him Wang Rin, asking him how he is doing, any new drama/project in the future, etc. Haha I swear I read every single comments.

      I know….I missed him so much that I can’t even watch other dramas. I kept on thinking “but he’s not Rin”. At work, I keep on playing the OST that even my colleague start singing together haha.
