      Hi Megane, I’m only on ep5 but liking it so far after a long drama slump 😁. I would say try the first 20 mins and see how you feel about it. Fighting on your work! Tami is 38, doing so well in her job yet feels lost about her work too.

      I am happy to report I was successful in getting a concert ticket for Leeki’s bday concert in Taiwan,and plane tickets and accommodations are sorted.

      Now I just have to (im)patiently wait for my travel clearance to get released,in time .

A drama ending with 2 handshakes, ha! For beanies who have watched Prime minister and I, here’s double the joy. 😝 This is probably for the better though, given the circumstances.

Personally I’ve really enjoyed it, but would not recommend this show to anyone. Has anyone felt like this about a show before?

    I wanted to see a drama with original seul bi and the writer, her crush on him, and her quest of finding new ways to survive a daily dose of embarrassments. And in the process finding herself and battling with her insecurities about looks and everything.
    It would have been a great show if it was about a normal plus sized girl and her journey, not her alter ego who’s pretty and nothing like her. Seul Bi was even fine with living as the pretty girl and thought it was all herself, which is quite sad actually. The writer is giving all the wrong messages out there. He/ she completely ruined the possibilities of this drama.

      What you’ve written is beautiful Fay, it is so much wasted potential which you’ve put into words.

      This is why I cant recommend this show. To me the moral compass of the show doesnt quite exist. I was nervous about where this story would take us, because like you’ve said the focus was not on Seul Bi learning to like herself. The ending could have been worse if Hyun Woo and Seul Bi continued to date as if nothing has happened, so getting 2 handshakes were a relief to me.

      But I liked it anyway
      I have to say I’ve enjoyed the cute anyway. I liked watching Hyun Woo and Seul Bi’s interactions, them experiencing love and dating for the first time. These were what kept me interested in the show despite its flaws (that and Junhyung 😉). I can also emphatise with Seul Bi and her choices even though I may not agree or like it.

      I can understand why you and most people wont like it though. Weightlifting fairy was a better drama on this. 🙃

        Oh seul bi dates hyun woo for real? I would like to watch that.
        Um, I have fast forwarded for scenes to see how seul bi is fairing, until episode 10 lol. But now I guess I will watch the last two episodes.
        Yeah, you’re right, the moral compass of this show doesn’t at all exist. I mean it seemed like, they had the right thing in mind, when they started. And I thought by half way through the drama they will start focusing more on seul bi and less on the pretty alternative. But that never happened, and it’s more frustrating that for just the sake of romance, seul bi decided to leave a completely settled job and just kept living in her delusional world lol. It just doesn’t make any sense. Jun Hyung is awesome, and I love his deep voice, but sadly it would have been much more interesting if we saw a different love story right? Anyway I’m glad that you felt the same way. 🙂

          I meant Seul bi & Go woon as one person actually, I’m sorry. It was Go woon who went on dates with Hyun Woo unfortunately… which I guess we agree is the issue with the show. Sigh.

          The fallout in the last episode was heartbreaking. I’ve not watched the subbed version, but its along the lines that Hyunwoo asked Seulbi, ‘Why didn’t you tell me the truth?’, and Seulbi replied ‘Writer-nim you’ve never seen me as a woman until I was Oh Gowoon, and I wanted you to see me as a woman’. ☹️

    I feel the same with this show. Still have 3 episodes to watch didn’t know it ended but I also enjoyed because it was super light and easy to watch but wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone
