Since we were discussing Peter Pan 2003, he is my favorite OST from that movie.

*gasp* This movie! <3 <3 <3 I had it almost 100% memorized when I was younger. Chunks of it are still up in my head somewhere.

I said I would watch eps 3&4 of Manhole before dropping it. Much better this week. Manlier and less manic Bong Pil is better.

I have a brilliant but quiet student with whom I couldn’t connect. She found out I liked kdramas and showed me how she decorated her notebook with pictures from kdramas and BTS. She now talks to me!

I have a student who hates kdramas. Apparently her favorite aunt is now obsessed with them. When she visits for family gatherings, her father shuts down the WIFI so she won’t hide to watch them.

The events of Save Me ep 3 make me feel like this.

The broken bromance in ep 3 of Strongest Deliverymen makes me feel like this.

I,instead, prefer that we have this broken bromance early on.KS & JG don’t know each other that well now.Their friendship is in its early stages, not much invested affection for each other. But I’m looking forward to how and why they move past this conflict & grow into a great bromance down the line, hopefully.

I just managed to get through the first episode of Manhole. I love Jaejoong, like Baro, and I have a soft spot for time travel dramas. But this is a no. Big no. I wanted to push him in the manhole.

    This gif! *laughing*

Seriously though, regarding the drama, I haven’t watched the first episode yet but the comments I’ve read have not been all that positive. Uh oh.

I should be doing work for an online class, but I accidentally clicked on DramaFever. 😜 Just watched the first two episodes of The Strongest Deliveryman. I loved it! I’m in for this ride.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. In the end, Reunited Worlds will do this to my heart.

I just got back from vacation. My job signed me up for an online course that will require 48 hours of my personal time to be completed by Aug 30. BUT I got a $600 raise! Goodbye for a while kdramas!

Bride of the Water God was losing me, but now I’m very interested in the CEOs story, more than Habaek and his servant. His internal good vs evil struggle has me hooked.

Started watching Love Timeless (another time travel drama!) and I’m liking it so far. I love some of the movie, kdrama references when the lead tries to get back to the future. Do you know these?

Oh I was watching this one too! Those references were hilarious. The first few episodes were really good. I was watching live and decided to just finish when it was completed. Thanks for the reminder.

I’m up to ep 4 and really loving it so far. But I’ll have to take a break too to get ready for back to school since school here starts in August. This year I’ll get to teach English and a cinema class as an elective for the English department and I’m really excited.

You’re a teacher/professor? How cool! Is this your first year teaching those subjects? What’re you most excited about for the upcoming new school year?

I’ve been teaching for 7 yrs. It is actually my third career! And it will probably be my last, since I’m planning to die teaching 😵. I’ve always taught ESL English, but this year we wanted to add different electives for the students. I chose cinema. The focus is to help the students improve their storytelling skills through movies. I will take them through the elements of movies and have them develop a short film. I’m excited because the technology department will join me in teaching them film editing and basic effects, and the art department will work with them on stage design. My 16 yr old daughter participated in a short film festival last year and won best screenplay, so that is what inspired me to design this class.

That sounds so exciting. It’s awesome to hear so much support for your ESL program. Incorporating cinema and different departments is a pretty awesome way to assist with the traditional English teaching tools especially since they will be covering a variety of different learning styles. Congrats to your daughter for her screenplay and inspiration.

OoOo You’re right I start school late August and now is the prime time to catch up on as much as I can. Since I work full time I can only take on two classes Sculpture and Statistics so it should be interesting.

The first one I think isn’t a kdrama but from Back to the Future. Or is there a kdrama that uses the same concept?
The other are Nine and Signal of course lol

I’m excited to see that the downvote button is gone. Dramabeans has always been a community of kdrama lovers that discuss their likes and dislikes in a supportive environment. Hope it stays that way!

Why are they arguing over who is paying for Subway? They are already eating. Don’t you pay at the cash register when you get your food in SK?

Why?
