Beanie level: Water maid

Work Later, Drink Now is soooo hilarious and weird, it’s a freakin’ gem.
You guys might wanna give it a go.

I tried it but couldn’t get past Episode 2 because of how they were handling the drinking. Does it get better?

I’ve seen 6 episodes so far and I just love everything about it. Unfortunately, it didn’t appeal to other people, one of the reasons why is because of the excessive drinking of our 3 protagonists. And they are sooo weird, but that makes the story more interesting and refreshing in a way.

I remember watching the 1st episode, just right after few minutes I knew this drama is my cup of tea. I can’t really tell you that it gets better because for me it’s already been great from the start. I hope more people give this drama a chance.

Watcher is really good but it\’s such a heartbreaker and it keeps messing with my emotions. 👀🍂

Oh, and did I say that I keep on switching sides? This show is now playing with my mind.

On another note, Jang Hae-ryong\’s scene with the briefcase is funny. ~ \”Did I fracture my bone? It hurts every time I breathe. \” 🤣

At Eighteen. Okay, I had the impression that it\’s gonna be too fluffy for my liking, I am wrong. It started good, even cute but it\’s already hinting at some serious issues, probably complicated but for now I am digging it, surprisingly. I know it\’s quite early to say but I have a feeling that I am sooo gonna love this one.

P. S. I am already feeling giddy just seeing Kang Ki-young and his quirky expressions.

All the Reply series will always have a special place in my heart, and this ahjussi will always be my favorite in kdramaland.

Oh! And the goat sounds will never ever get old. 🐐

Disgusting humans in a f*ucked up world.

This is heartwrenching and horribly sickening. In my entire existence, I could not fathom why such monstrous beings are getting away and the sufferers are freaking left mistreated.

Talk about screwed up justice.

Ya know – all the stories and history of Japan is quite brutal. As much as I’m kind of drawn to the food and art etc., there are times that I find myself hating Japan for all the horrible things they’ve done.
Then I remember the Germans, Russians, English colonizers, early ‘Americans’ to the natives, etc… and it goes on and on. *big sad sigh*
this is on my list of movies on Amazon, but I dread watching it as I know I’ll cry so much.
But thanks for the reminder to watch this!

I know. Those heinous crimes had been committed repeatedly in the past and I can’t help but cry.

Just don’t come back and blame me for reminding you when you’re all tears, okay?

I won’t @dream – we need to be reminded of the past so the hope is we don’t repeat it.

or else I’m just a glutton for punishment…

If you’re into chinese dramas, you can watch Life Plan A and B. Not only slice of life, slice of reality as well. 😉

Been a long time since I’ve watched one. Slice of reality sounds great. ^^

I really liked it a lot. I had to take a major decision and at that time coincidentally watched this one. It’s on netflix, in case you want to enjoy it on a better screen. :)) Hope you enjoy it!

I know too many, but the big one that I see missing on your list is My Ajusshi.
And I want to know how was “The Best Moment to Quit Your Job”?

Oh yes!! Best slice of life ever~~

I’ve seen My Ahjussi and it’s unquestionably one of the best melodramas out there.

The Best Moment to Quit Your Job is like a fusion of Age of Youth and Misaeng. Kind of. It’s a short drama with only 8 episodes. It’s beautiful nonetheless and I especially like the vibes of it.

How about Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo? That is one of my favorite dramas. Low key, sweet, great characters and minimal angst. Sassy Go Go is another good one in the same vein. 20th Century Boy and Girl is also pretty low key but sweet, kind of like s grown up youth drama, with minimal angst and lots of great relationships.

I’ve already watched Weightlifting and love the story and the whole cast. I remember starting Sassy Go Go before but I suddenly stopped, I think I wasn’t ready for the love triangle that time. Yet to see 20th century, thanks a bunch!

My rule of not watching ongoing kdramas is long gone. I\’d love to binge-watch everything but I\’m too impatient.

O t t o k e ?

And now, 1st episode of Watcher is already playing on my screen, good grief. 🙉

He said: \”Thank you for coming to me.\”

She said: \”Spring brought you to me.\”

They both smiled. And then, they kissed. And laughed.

The end. 🍁

Did I mention that One Spring Night is such a one in a million gem? It\’s honestly so good and heartwarming. It\’s just my style.

Sorry for doubting you at one time, I let my emotions get the better of me and thought for a moment that you might hurt me too.

Thank you Show, for proving me wrong.

Thank you for taking all the right turns and for giving me butterflies all throughout.

I haven’t watched Tazza 1 and 2, I made an attempt to watch both but never really got around to it.

But I’m definitely gonna watch Tazza 3. Kwang-soo’ya~ 🦒

2

Wow I didn’t know Tazza 3 was coming out 😮
Tazza was a nice intro to the gambling scene but not for everyone’s taste (with a great cast tho). Tazza 2 had more comedy and fast pace. So, I wonder what kind of vibe they’re planning for the third one. Lee Kwang Soo ♥️ It looks like he’s in the team but I want him to play a villain.

    1
    1

Oh wow, the idea of him being a villain. He’ll pull it off, for sure… but I haven’t had enough of his silly antics so I’m hoping to see more of that side of him in Tazza.

Watching Juror 8 deeply reminds me why I genuinely love korean films so so sooo much. It’s one of those precious heartwarming movies that will touch one’s soul.

Heartwarming drama with helluva laugh-out-loud moments and beautiful bromances, plus incredibly addictive OSTs.

And there’s the trouble seeker Looney. 🙉

Nothing more to ask for.

Ack. I am going nuts.

I know watching a preview of ongoing show will just prolong the agony of waiting. I know very well but I still did. Now, what am I gonna do Show?

And what\’s with the preview anyway?

I wonder why One Spring Night has been so good to me all this time, YOU WERE PLANNING TO BREAK MY HEART AFTER GIVING ME SO MANY BUTTERFLIES? What a mean thing to do.

But. My heart was broken too many times already, I\’ve been burned and betrayed a lot of times. I can handle this much but dear Show, just promise me one thing, don\’t just throw us under the bus.

I still love you genuinely. 💜
