I wasn’t going to watch at first because it didn’t seem up my alley at ALL(no romance, dark themes) but then I had an unexpected free hour tonight, gave it a whirl out of boredom, and it was all BEAUTIFUL CINEMATOGRAPHY and a FASCINATING protagonist and the bond she clearly already has with that sweet little girl and just, just…*squee*
