I agree with you on everything, specially about InJae. I really hate how DalMi always assumes the worst of her, lies to her and is so mean to her.
According to that conversation between InJae and her stepdad and the anecdote with their dog, it’s pretty sure InJae was grew up being the perfect daughter, always pleasing her stepdad because he is a bad person who likes to use his power to despise others: he did it with the dog, with DalMi and DoSan in their office, to InJae when he appointed his son as CEO instead of his capable stepdaughter, or the way he uses his wife as a thing. So InJae grew up in that environment and that’s probably the reason she’s that cold and perfectionist. But she’s a good boss and a warm person too, because if not those employees wouldn’t have followed her and the twins wouldn’t have stayed (as the SamSan boys predicted). I just don’t understand why the show is making this awesome and with so much potential character just the evil sister. I just can’t understand she’s just used as a filler.
And regarding the kiss, you are also right, beautifully shot, but… well… yes… I was like: oh, look, they are kissing… nice colours… do I care? No, I don’t care at all.
Just watch it, I’m sure you’ll enjoy. I mean, I’ve been having this sensation from the very beginning of the show. I just couldn’t ship DoSan and DalMi from the very beginning (and I’m here because I simple ADORE Nam Joo Hyuk).

I agree with everything they said except that the fluff or fan service in last episode should be 30 mins long. 😂 I think 5 to max 15 minutes of that is more than enough, it actually ruins the show if the final episode doesn’t have much of the story because as they said everyone’s anticipating it the most, so we do need lots of stuff. I especially like how it was done in My Ajusshi and Seven Day Queen.

I think Lt. Lee kept the tape. I mean, he destroyed the camcorder, that’s for sure, but those things in 1997 had tapes (I don’t think they used cards by then). So he has the proof, and there are two reasons I trust him: he’s always been genuinely worried about the safety and wellbeing of the other members of the team, and he’s not totally comfortable with his father.
When we saw the flashback of him and his dad, you could see his face of resignation when his father told him one day he would be the general he never could be. I’m pretty sure Lt. Lee is happy to be in the Army, but he didn’t like the greed look in his father’s eyes. And then, when he found out what happened, he was really disgusted. I’m trusting him. I have to.
Same goes to Cap. Song. He’s doing his task because he knows he’ll be expelled from the Army if not. He’s always been protective about his team in the past (Sg. Joo’s devotion says it all), and now he’s figuring out that whatever happened in the past may be related to what’s happening now.
That’s why I want them to overpass their differences and team up to uncover the truth. I do hope Sg. Yong is the one who can make them do it.
I am secretly hoping Lt Lee kept SOMETHING from the camcorder or maybe Sg Yong did! I just want the truth to be revealed! Because maybe, just maybe, Sg Yong’s dad was that Captain who was killed by Lt Lee?? Omoo, I am so thrilled!
And yes! Capt Song, I have faith in him since we know as viewers that not only does he follow orders but wanted to determine the bigger picture of this issue! Aww. But I am just rooting for this team!

ML is not a jerk to make Second male lead look nice. Sis is not really a vamp trying to show how goody two shoe FL is. The other coders… they heard the idea, but we see they are good at what they do and with same source material they came up with 2 different good ideas..

Basically, it IS the LOVE STORY of JOONYOUNG and SONGAH. We’ve been through their ups and downs, especially the downs I must say (HELLO BRAHMSIES). 😉
We’ve questioned the hardships of this OTP, most especially the pain, was it worth it?
This episode walked us through how winning back love isn’t easy and isn’t applicable to all. I am actually happy that Hyun Ho and Jung Kyung didn’t end up together, as well as Dong Yoon and Min Jae staying as friends. Some pain is just too much. Well for JY and SA? It may sound like a fairy tale, or cliche, but I’d say that they are meant to be (and IRL? Ottoke 🙈)! 🤗
How they dealt with the separation — respecting each other’s decision, the willingness to wait and see (no pressure at all!) was well, an adult thing to watch and see. I appreciated that THERE ARE people around them rooting for this OTP too and played cupids (JUST FOR THIS EPISODE 😝) and I think this has lead to the beautiful reunion, OMO THAT KISS!! 🤩🤩🤩 I felt the LONGING, the LOVE, THE HARDSHIP WAS WORTH IT, FINALLY!! (I WAS THE PIANO THERE IN THE ROOM, REALLY! 🙈)
The scenes that follow showed us the much happier OTP. Us brahmsies predicted and rooted for Song Ah to be by Joon Young’s side, be it a managerial or anything, just be by his side! And thank goodness, she realized it too! Maybe it was unnecessary to be a long 16 episodes but I am still grateful I stayed and enjoyed the ride! Till then my sweet dimple OTP — I will miss you! Stay in LOVE and have babies! Hahaha!

How can these fictional characters make me smile so much? Song Ah’s final narration was brilliant and I think the theme of the entire drama. 🥰 Every now and then I come across kdramas, like Brahms, that remind me why I like them. Now I can sleep content lol.
The subs are out and finally get to watch this episode! Its a really long one compared to the previous clips from the staff of Hospital Playlist. Again (and I will keep on repeating this), this clip just proves how thoughtful and thorough is the staff in casting people in their dramas. 🤗
Special shoutout to Aunt Wang!! I can’t believe she’s been in theater for 40 years and muster her courage to venture more for her dreams, at her age! I am gushing how modest she is (and all the other actors as well) during the audition. I am thankful to HP for showing us these kind of BTS scenes! I teared up at the credits in the end, well-deserved tribute to the supporting actors that made the whole show the best one! Now I can’t wait for season2! 🙈

Last episode, I mentioned not seeing Director Nah ever doesn’t mean I wished her to pass away. Poor Dad! I felt bad for him! Although looking back, the Writer planned it though. Grandma kept having health issues from the start that it happened naturally. 🤔
Now, now. Our OTP. It was painful experiencing the aftermaths of the break up. And in this time. Both thought of quitting music. 😭

I love how the writer portrayed the true-to-life story of musicians Brahms-Schumann-Clara at this point! And that piece, and scene was so beautiful! I felt the sincerity and happiness of them playing. The way they held hands at the end of the recital made me squeeee!!
And Joon Young! Finally expressed himself. There. With the piano (I secretly cheered for a kissing scene!! Cuz you know🤭) And of course we will (yet) get to know Song Ah’s answer tonight because the cuts to SA loving the first snow!!! Whaaaa! See you later show! I agree with everything they said except that the fluff or fan service in last episode should be 30 mins long. 😂 I think 5 to max 15 minutes of that is more than enough, it actually ruins the show if the final episode doesn’t have much of the story because as they said everyone’s anticipating it the most, so we do need lots of stuff. I especially like how it was done in My Ajusshi and Seven Day Queen.

I think Lt. Lee kept the tape. I mean, he destroyed the camcorder, that’s for sure, but those things in 1997 had tapes (I don’t think they used cards by then). So he has the proof, and there are two reasons I trust him: he’s always been genuinely worried about the safety and wellbeing of the other members of the team, and he’s not totally comfortable with his father.
When we saw the flashback of him and his dad, you could see his face of resignation when his father told him one day he would be the general he never could be. I’m pretty sure Lt. Lee is happy to be in the Army, but he didn’t like the greed look in his father’s eyes. And then, when he found out what happened, he was really disgusted. I’m trusting him. I have to.
Same goes to Cap. Song. He’s doing his task because he knows he’ll be expelled from the Army if not. He’s always been protective about his team in the past (Sg. Joo’s devotion says it all), and now he’s figuring out that whatever happened in the past may be related to what’s happening now.
That’s why I want them to overpass their differences and team up to uncover the truth. I do hope Sg. Yong is the one who can make them do it.

And yes! Capt Song, I have faith in him since we know as viewers that not only does he follow orders but wanted to determine the bigger picture of this issue! Aww. But I am just rooting for this team!

I was actually disappointed with IJ using the father/sandbox thingy for her to get things she wanted. She really had this overbearing character, just like their mom. Urgh 🤦♀️
On the other hand, we have a much dangerous(?) Person on the loose eh? Im thinking its JP assistant? Haha. Anyway, I am much intrigued on how the truth will be revealed about the letters though? A lot had happened. And a lot about Dal Mi. My question on her educational attainment was answered. It pains me to see Halmoni crying! 😭 This “Mother” deserve to know the truth on how Dal Mi had to go through, well thanks to her! 🤬
I Love how metaphors were used in explaining the technological stuff (sorry, no techy here!) and about life (eg. the need for the rain in life, not just the sunshine makes sense!) This episode showed how insightful Do San is and not to mention how territorial he is (well that is HIS candy, no?🤔) and the dynamic between our threeSANS, Amaaaazing!
Aww, And poor Jin Pyeong, falling deeper in SLS; I hear my heart and yours breaking every time you were reminded of the past and all “what ifs”, this man deserves a lot more love! 😘
For a moment, I thought Dal Mi had it all figured out at the last moment! More characters are being added to this already brewing feist(?, haha) and I can’t wait to know more about them 🧐

another nice touch is, as of now, the drama is not making a character jerk just to make or show another character in better limelight..
ML is not a jerk to make Second male lead look nice. Sis is not really a vamp trying to show how goody two shoe FL is. The other coders… they heard the idea, but we see they are good at what they do and with same source material they came up with 2 different good ideas..
I hope drama stays that way.. we don’t need unnecessary evil people..
in that capacity, i even acknowledge in jae’s stepfather’s behavior. That is very real. he would but ofcourse promote his own son.. nothing wrong there, rather nothing non real there

Even if they had “taken” Dal-mi’s idea (can you really steal ideas? I’m dubious), in real life competition occurs where people develop the same kind of product and the product that does a better job wins. This isn’t unethical; to the contrary, this competition is what drives the development of better products and lowers prices.

But ultimately, the one who really came up with that philosophical statement was dalmi and hence the originator of sandbox..
AND, i would say.. second male lead got his break from sandbox too.. so all the more reason for him to fall for dalmi..

those letters were co-written by grandmom and him. Therefore, in that sense, i think there is a reason why those letters managed to strike a cord with Dalmi (at some level the content has her grandmom’s touch)

Haha! I don’t know how many times I cried this episode. BUT FOR ONCE, no MEANIES! Finally, Thank you writer! 😅
Basically, it IS the LOVE STORY of JOONYOUNG and SONGAH. We’ve been through their ups and downs, especially the downs I must say (HELLO BRAHMSIES). 😉
We’ve questioned the hardships of this OTP, most especially the pain, was it worth it?
This episode walked us through how winning back love isn’t easy and isn’t applicable to all. I am actually happy that Hyun Ho and Jung Kyung didn’t end up together, as well as Dong Yoon and Min Jae staying as friends. Some pain is just too much. Well for JY and SA? It may sound like a fairy tale, or cliche, but I’d say that they are meant to be (and IRL? Ottoke 🙈)! 🤗
How they dealt with the separation — respecting each other’s decision, the willingness to wait and see (no pressure at all!) was well, an adult thing to watch and see. I appreciated that THERE ARE people around them rooting for this OTP too and played cupids (JUST FOR THIS EPISODE 😝) and I think this has lead to the beautiful reunion, OMO THAT KISS!! 🤩🤩🤩 I felt the LONGING, the LOVE, THE HARDSHIP WAS WORTH IT, FINALLY!! (I WAS THE PIANO THERE IN THE ROOM, REALLY! 🙈)
The scenes that follow showed us the much happier OTP. Us brahmsies predicted and rooted for Song Ah to be by Joon Young’s side, be it a managerial or anything, just be by his side! And thank goodness, she realized it too! Maybe it was unnecessary to be a long 16 episodes but I am still grateful I stayed and enjoyed the ride! Till then my sweet dimple OTP — I will miss you! Stay in LOVE and have babies! Hahaha!

I’ve been on such a Brahms high since I saw the clips this morning, I can’t imagine how I’ll be when I watch the episode. Curse you adult life responsibilities!
I’ve loved your reactions for every episode though. ❤ Completely agree with your take on their separation. I love love love that it wasn’t noble idiocy. It actually flowed perfectly with our characters and their trajectory.
But I’ll shut up now so I can finish prepping my lunch for tomorrow and I can actually sit and watch the episode.

It really was such a joy being part of the Brahms community! And I just watched the episode and I can’t believe how a show can make me feel so happy!!! How can these fictional characters make me smile so much? Song Ah’s final narration was brilliant and I think the theme of the entire drama. 🥰 Every now and then I come across kdramas, like Brahms, that remind me why I like them. Now I can sleep content lol.

The subs are out and finally get to watch this episode! Its a really long one compared to the previous clips from the staff of Hospital Playlist. Again (and I will keep on repeating this), this clip just proves how thoughtful and thorough is the staff in casting people in their dramas. 🤗
Special shoutout to Aunt Wang!! I can’t believe she’s been in theater for 40 years and muster her courage to venture more for her dreams, at her age! I am gushing how modest she is (and all the other actors as well) during the audition. I am thankful to HP for showing us these kind of BTS scenes! I teared up at the credits in the end, well-deserved tribute to the supporting actors that made the whole show the best one! Now I can’t wait for season2! 🙈

For an hour, I sighed, was teary-eyed, got mad and cheered. I felt tired. 🤭 Haha!
It is the 15th episode, a 2nd to the last one and the supporting characters thought of being “supportive” just now! I hate Hae Na and Jung Kyung!
Hae Na for being even brave to tell Song Ah not to quit violin because of her, what a lame excuse! What, hypocrite! Jung Kyung, again and again, keep examining her feelings for Joon Young and realizes, JUST NOW, that he consoled her everytime and now, she felt bad because he doesn’t anymore. What are you, a child?? 😟🤧
So. What will she do about it? Does breaking up our OTP made her happy? Come on, girl!! 🤯
Ps. Representative Park being pushed by Noona, he just deserves it! Shameless fool for even thinking he can just go back to Kyunghoo after betraying people 💁♀️
Last episode, I mentioned not seeing Director Nah ever doesn’t mean I wished her to pass away. Poor Dad! I felt bad for him! Although looking back, the Writer planned it though. Grandma kept having health issues from the start that it happened naturally. 🤔
Now, now. Our OTP. It was painful experiencing the aftermaths of the break up. And in this time. Both thought of quitting music. 😭
Joon Young crying broke my heart. 💔 I have to mention Mom, on why does she need to say that JY doesn’t express himself more (so she doesn’t expect anything he’d share, wasn’t said out loud but it goes out like that!). I am personally offended because you don’t do that to your child 🤦♀️
As someone who specializes on young people, one should be supportive and willing to listen to children esp to timid ones or else they’d grow up thinking their opinions doesn’t matter.
Anyway. Things got out of hand when Joon Young offered to play for Song Ah’s recital, a Brahms piece! I love how the writer portrayed the true-to-life story of musicians Brahms-Schumann-Clara at this point! And that piece, and scene was so beautiful! I felt the sincerity and happiness of them playing. The way they held hands at the end of the recital made me squeeee!!
And Joon Young! Finally expressed himself. There. With the piano (I secretly cheered for a kissing scene!! Cuz you know🤭) And of course we will (yet) get to know Song Ah’s answer tonight because the cuts to SA loving the first snow!!! Whaaaa! See you later show! Albeit the finale, I can feel it will be a happy one! 🙈

You guys know that I am watching S2 of Age of Youth. And this guy, this nerdy guy keep appearing as Ye Eun’s (possible?) love interest (still in E6) and I gave up wondering who he is IRL so I researched, and BAAAM! He is Lee Yoo Jin and currently stars as Yoon Dong Yoon in DYLB!! 🙈🙈🙈

This happened to me too when I first saw Dong-yoon, but it was with the film Be With You starring So Ji-sub and Son Ye-jin, where he played the young version of So Ji-sub’s character.
It’s really fun recognizing actors across their works!
