        My weakness really is dimples I think. I find the actor playing ‘Sun’ in Sisyphus also very cute. My heart was stolen when I saw a dimple on his left cheek.

Kang Ah-reum figuring out Derek is a spy and confronting him about it!! That was such a great scene. I\’m loving her character. Also, I think I have a thing for Yoo Inna playing with scissors.

😭 Lost Romance had one of my favourite female lead – second male lead relationships ever. Their friendship was adorable and Xiao’en didn’t give up on Qingfeng and gave him a happy ending (and with Puff Guo at that!!)

Lee Boyoung\’s cameo in Startup reminded me of this one time when I was an exchange student in Seoul and was in a really big subway station and this older lady just came to me and started asking random questions and would overreact with stuff like \”You look so smart!!\” \”You must have really good grades!!!\” \”SOOOOOO SMART!!\” and I was just awkwardly staying there waiting for her to get to the point. After what felt like some good 10 minutes she said she knows a temple where a lot of students pray to their ancestors for good grades and really insisted on taking me there. Noped out of that one real fast.

      Ngl I only finished Strongest Deliveryman for Jin-kyu and Ji-yoon.

        I believe almost all of the SD viewers stayed for them. GKP and CSB are both great actors, but the chemistry between them is meh. Not to mention the leads’ story is uber predictable, were more invested in 2ndary (jinkyu and jiyoon)’s storyline.

      High Society’s Park Hyunsik and Lim Jiyeon. They too, carried the show. Uee and SungJoon are so busy act like theyre angry and frustated; we viewers are so confused wether they supposed to be in love, manipulated each other, or if theyre frustated for real. 😑😑.

      I’ve read so many comments about the strongest deliveryman second couple that I almost feel like picking up this drama again just for them but I remember I didn’t really like the first episodes at all.

        Yeah, even though I like GKP a lot, his hair style is legit awful in the show. Plus, I hear KSH stole the show there, and his character and storyline were more compelling.

      Somin and Minjoon is one of my favourites as well! Along with Goblin and WWW. Oof my heart hurts just thinking of the CLOY couple. It reminds me a lot of The King 2 Hearts (what is it with North Korea related dramas and tragic second leads?). It still baffles me how Love with Flaws had so many great secondary couples yet the main one left me feeling lukewarm.

        The problem with Love with flaws is that writer chose wrong ML. I mean, FL has far better chemistry with SML. OTP was so dull, and had no chemistry at all… but all the secondary couples were ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve read a lot of opinions about Dalmi always being the mean one to Injae and how it’s annoying and nonsensical but while I agree that it’s annoying and I wish she would cut it off I kinda get it and have some sympathy for her. I was in a similar situation (parents reversed) when my parents got divorced but both me and my sister left with mom, and if my older sister would have told me what Injae told Dalmi when she left, spoke ill of mom, then went with dad and cut off contact completely with me saying I wasn’t her sister anymore, I would have ended up hating her a lot. Because that’s what happens when people you love deeply hurt you. You resent them and feel bitter and end up being mean and petty to them. It’s not nice but I think it’s human, so I get it, and I feel like it makes sense for Dalmi to act that way. I still have hope that they could make up eventually.

Things are getting complicated on the romance front in Start-up so here, non-related things I enjoyed this episode:
– Jipyeong telling Sandbox CEO about Dalmi possibly being the girl on the swing
– The way they merged their idea with Yeongshil (yay to more Yeo Jingoo!)
– Dosan’s cousin’s marketing LOL. He is the real genius in this show. Guy is gonna make a bunch of money from those 1%
– Injae’s conversation with her mom (I feel like mom is getting inspired by Injae and might finally leave that dude for good)
– Dalmi shutting those two up and getting some money to fund Noongil
– Grandma writing feedback for Noongil TT (someone please tell Jipyeong about her!!)
– Yeongshill calling Chulsan out for wearing fake glasses
– Injae’s smile/smirk at the end

Also I understand that the purpose of the scene where Samsan’s program fails recognizing Injae’s font as a forgery is meant to show that Dosan is finally getting ambitious (with innocent pens as collateral damage) but I felt that Injae’s dad being there was unecessary and that it’s not reasonable for people to expect a project developed in two days to reach such high standards so I felt like it was just another scene meant to make Dosan feel like shit. Even thought Alex kinda feels like a magic fairy at this point I’m glad there’s at least someone out there who sees Dosan’s potential.

            No, I’m not.
            In fact it may be one of the worst things you can tell a Spanish, hahahaha.
            Not the kindest historical relation between our two countries.
            It’s not that I don’t like smiles in people, but I just can’t trust someone who’s always smiling no matter what. I had a workmate who was alwys like that and when something annoyed him you could see the smile in his mouth but his eyes in anger. Not someone I want around.

    Bay area Silicon valley would chew with relish and then spit out Samsan Tech, I mean there are hundreds of Nam Dosan out there….I wish I knew less about the industry….I can’t with the direction of this drama…expecting them to do some research before writing the script, is that too much to ask.

      Everything serves for the drama, I guess. But I totally get you, it happens to me with period dramas, as a reenactor I can’t focus on a show if I see inaccuracies in costumes and hairstyles and the way people address to each other.

I really really like Jipyeong but on the romance front I\’m rooting for Dosan and Dalmi and I really wish this didn\’t turn into your usual love triangle. I just want to like a second male lead without having to see them being miserable because they\’re not getting the girl. Jipyeong shines so much in his interactions with halmeoni, as a mentor to the samsan trio and of course with youngshil (missed him this episode!) and I could totally understand him feeling indebted to Dalmi and wanting to see her happy without having to be in love with her so please show don\’t go that route and stop breaking my (and Jipyeong’s) heart.

    That scene was utterly heartbreaking, but I really like that he can ask himself the question and realises the DoSan that DalMi thinks about is not him, so this way he can make her fall for the the real DoSan.
    Not that I want that, though, because JiPyeong is being such a cutie pie with halmoni…
