Beanie level: Eunuch in drag

I know it’s not a romance drama but couldn’t you shoot at least a holding hands scene. Or even just a framed desk picture showing they are now dating? #SolHwi #LawSchool

Or a ring!!! What we got are matching phone cases.
    They arrived together right?

    3
    2

      They did
And they’re now dating or probably married…….. in my head

      1

You are right, they arrived together, and after whatever that school event Yangcrates asked help from them, they went home together to their kid ( with babysitter Byeol ).

I can’t even step on one without falling so for Seon-ho (and Ravi) to finish this challenge with added complexity of holding a ball means really, really strong core and leg muscles. (abs!!)

Baby was doing so good there I took a lot of screenshots of him. He was very good with everything physical (archery, this activity) *blushes* as long as it doesn’t involve knowledge. 😂

I am sorry SIG and PBY. I like you both but it is no longer enough to keep watching your show. No loss to you, I know, but please choose a better script next time.

Rewatching Move To Heaven, I thought I will savor this sans the tears. i was so wrong, still ugly cried and am just at ep. 1. Still a good watch though. This is turning out as my best drama to-date.

Ohh!! I’m watching it right now..better have some tissues ready, then 🤧

I’m not even a crier and I was in tears.

This is the kind of drama I love.

It’s heartbreaking but beautiful so far. I’m on ep 3, and I foresee a hardcore weekend binge.

I haven’t seen episode one yet, saving for tonight. I am so glad the first returns are coming in so positive. From the two trailers I have seen I thought Lee Je-noon and Tang Jun-sang would be great. MOVE TO HEAVEN will be a one episode per night show for me.
Also remember, Tang Jun-sang is part of the cast of RACKET BOYS that will air later this month on Netflix (US) (I believe.)

Yes! He was a sweet little duckling in CLOY, it’s nice to see him landing some other roles now.

Oh so that why this boy is familiar. He is the youngest duckling in CLOY. He is so good here in MTH. I think he is nailing the character with Asperger’s. I’m always wary and sensitive re portrayals for these roles and so far he is handling this delicately but realistically.

Thanks, ive been trying to figure out why he looked so familiar!

From what I’ve watched so far, Tang Jun-sang is really good in Move to Heaven. I didn’t know he was going to be in Racket Boys but now I’m looking forward to it even more.

On to episode 3. Dealing with something so dark and infusing it with so much reverence and respect, and at the same time spinning mysteries out of the detritus of people’s lives and giving those lives closure, justice and truthfulness. Have I already said this? I love what kdrama does.

Netflix says there is only 1 episode for Law School this week. Anyone knows why?

1
2

It’s because of Baeksang, it will air in the timeslot that Law School is supposed to be 🙁 I’m so sad that I have to wait for another week after that ending 😭

Goodbye Vincenzo.. it had been a fun ride. Bonus, I discovered Kwak Dong Yeon, and moved up my beanie level. Looks like a sign to watch LINTM.

Just finished The Producers. I initially liked that the backdrop is the life of variety show producers and I thought this would be a fun slice of life show. But alas! the show focused so much on the love triangle that I ended up hating all the characters except that of IU. They could have ended the ML crush in a few eps and thus focus on his growth as a producer.

I couldn’t finish it, I gave up and just watched Lee Seung gi’s cameo 😅

Oh, that was the cameo I loved the most, naturally. I regret completing the show, though I fast forwarded esp after episode 6, still a little over 8 hours wasted.

Rewatching Mr. Queen now. Just to spite the bullies.

I was starting to get bored and already fast forwarding scenes. Then that ending happened. #MouseEp4.

Hello, It\’s Me is growing on me, looks like it will pass the 4-episode rule.

I’m really falling for it. I wonder if it might be similar in it’s time as Hi bye mama. It is kind of giving me a similar vibe. Hope it’s not as melodramatic though.

Rewatched Vincenzo Ep 1 today and discovered that they removed all the English translation of the Italian swear words (airport scene). Why, Netflix?

3
3

Oh they removed all the proper translations for the Korean swear words too lol. Really ironic considering Netflix’s past reputation subbing swear words…

    7
    0

The translation they did was really really light, and they are removing it?

    2
    0

Yes, ironic and non-sensical. They even have a series called History of Swear Words.. then suddenly removing this. I keep thinking they did not want to be accused of racial slur, as the orig line I think was “stupid korean” or something along that tone.

Episode 1 did not disappoint, this is what I expected from the writer. Tonque in cheek story telling throughout. Good start Vincenzo!

Glad that Netflix description shows cynical and comedy here. Which is what I expected from the writer. Will definitely check it out then. Hope it is as fun as The Fiery Priest and Good Manager.

The Good Detective turned out to be a hidden gem of a show!. It is in the same genre as FOS but with more action and less politics.

TGD was was one of my favorites of 2020. I am hoping there will be a TGD 2.

One of my favourites shows of last year. A most underrated drama. It’s so, so good. So happy to see more beanies appreciating it!!

Since we have been saying that this show does cliffhangers well, then they literally gave us a literal cliffhanger! pun intended?

No matter what genre (except period dramas), last episodes become a comedy with all those blatant PPL. Can\’t stop laughing with the frequent vacuuming and hair drying and chicken take-out, and more!

11
3

The amount of PPL in the last ep reminded me of the girl in Be Melo who had to tell the director, while shooting the last episode/scene, we still have this product to show director. 😁

    3
    1

I remember that scene! It was so meta.. I wonder what the actors would say when asked to do all these PPL scenes. Do they inwardly cringe?

Did I miss something? Why did Hwa Jin say she cannot forgive the queen? For what? I get the she wants to be the queen but what is the unforgivable act?

1
2

I know we are supposed to feel empathy for Hwa Jin because of what happened to her maid, but I just don\’t. She is still a two-faced queen wannabe. #MrQueen

I stopped feeling sorry for her the moment she spilled Cheoljong’s secret to Queen Dowanger
