Special Labor Inspector Jo. I’m watching it right now, and although it’s a bit heavy on the labor inspecting, it’s still hilarious.

I googled most underrated Kdramas and on top of the list is Come Back Alive/Mister with Rain. It was nice! Watching Mother now. I’ve been trying to avoid it for the longest time cause I’m not prepared for heavy drama. First episode and I knew I missed out a lot.

Well if you want something similar Seven Day Queen and Just Between Lovers are really beautifully done or Marriage Contract is a wonderful story too. If you want something more upbeat to balance everything out, there’s Healer which is a really fun rom-com-action show or Dream High which is good cotton candy kind of fun with a lot of heart and good music.

Any recommendations to binge watch this coming holidays? I’m finishing Six Flying Dragons and will probably see Go Back Couple. What do you think?

Aaaw~ little Lee Rae, Nam Da Reum, and Yoon Chan Young~~ too bad Baek Seung Hwan didn’t have a chance to be in the same scene with them. Have a great 50 hours in your life ! 😉

What’s that one Korean Drama that changed your life forever? Mine’s gotta be Goblin. It’s what got me drawn in this KDrama Galaxy. I love how they showed the cycle of life, death, and the afterlife.

Healer definitely! I watched k-drama occasionally prior to Healer and wasn’t a full-fledged k-drama addict…oops I mean fan but Healer changed my life forever… I started to get more interested in kdramas and that’s also when I found dramabeans. The rest is history 😉

Yeah. I love Healer too! I started my addiction es te fondness with KDramas just this year!

Well, like most people, BOF was my gateway drama so THAT may be the one that changed my life.

Ugh mine too! The first kdrama I ever watched and then marathoned like 10 more in 2 weeks.. But how far I have come now! I would probably not even finish 4 episodes of it now!

I watched Playful Kiss right after that and was hooked forever.

Lol are you me??? Playful Kiss was my 2nd drama cuz I was more enamored by “sunbae” than Gu Jun Pyo- but well- that show and mainly sunbae’s wooden acting made me try out Lee Min Ho dramas after that!

And then came Heirs and Personal Taste and FINALLY I watched My Love from the Stars- and well- that is is still one of my favourites!

Yeah, I loved Ji-hoo so much more than Jun Pyo, still do!

I never finished “Personal Taste”, or watched “Heirs” – I’m *not* a Lee Min Ho fan, and despite my adoration for “You’re Beautiful”, a Park Shin Hye fan either.

My dentist, who happens to be Korean, keeps telling me to watch “My Love From Another Star” (it’s his favourite), but I never thought it was that appealing to *me*.

Not a Lee Min Ho fan either but love Park Shin Hye, despite not loving her acting always…

Have u given MLFS a try and then didn’t like it or u don’t like the concept?

Currently obsessing on Yoo Ah In. It all started with Secret Love Affair. What’s your favorite Yoo Ah In character?

First saw him in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I honestly thought that he was the lead actor because he was so dreamy and charismatic, hee.

Oh yeah. I was hoping he’d end up with the girl. Haha!

His character in Secret Love Affair is my favorite.

I haven’t finished it, but he also was excellent in Chicago Typewriter.

    3rd is Six Flying Dragons.

I super love his portrayal of Lee Seon Jae! I have yet to see Six Flying Dragons. Is it any good? I’m afraid to start since it has 50 episodes. 😜

It is pretty darn good, Six Flying Dragons. If you want to see great performances from everyone, watch this. Also, action sequences. Episodes 1 thru 25 is my favorite. You can just try that. Though, if you want to see the full arc of You Ah In’s character, watch all of it. You’ll see the progression.

Both leads in Secret Love Affair gave portrayals of a lifetime. Very nuanced. There are times the camera just linger on them, with no cuts, you’ll see all the twitch of their body from their head to toe. The posture. the facial expressions. the placement of their hands. So Brilliant.

I agree with you. The drama is one of a kind in terms of acting, THE music, and execution of the story. I haven’t seen anything close to it. Thanks for your recommendation, I will probably watch Six Flying Dragons over the holidays.

Six flying dragons: Sooo good. Talking only YAI character there, I love him but I hate him (is this spoiler?)
Don’t binge watch SFD though, the heavy theme could make your head ache if you watch it continuously (I mean, since drama is meant to be enjoyed). Take it easy, i think 4 episodes a day is plenty

SFD’s Yi Bang-won followed very closely by Chicago Typewriter’s Han Se Joo/Seo Hwi-young

Six Flying Dragons. It’s long but so amazing, especially if you like history. Even if you don’t, you might be interested in it after.
I watched it while it was airing, and there was someone who would blog about the historical accuracy of each episode. It was very interesting. If you plan on watching it, I could find that blog for you. YAI is absolutely amazing in it.
