unlike Netflix Prime Video doesnt give you warning that screenshot isnt allowed.. and i took tons n tons of them only to find i got just subs on black screen while i spent so much time to replay to screenshot the perfect moment of the visual…sad..

    even without visuals.. this scene.. this moment was powerful
    if only all men can be gentlemen enough to own their mistakes, to genuinely seek forgiveness and diligently try to make the lady feel better cause as man they did mess things up

      If you are talking about Bora Deborah 5, I agree.
      And I loved all the interactions between them (ML and FL) in this episode. I need more time of them together.

        very much in agreement… they arent couple but the comfort level they have together while talking n unloading is beyond words.
        his one liners which arent funny at all but still made her feel better and her heartbreak nothing impressive but he still offered to share a shoulder… these 2 are too good together

    I know, it took me by surprise when I first noticed it. I think it’s fairly universal now so I don’t know how others are getting their screenshots.

      I find it so sad and odd that screenshots are prohibited! Shows basically get free marketing this way, and the people ripping the shows in their entirety are certainly not the ones painstakingly taking the perfect screenshot to share the moment with others.😅

        Yup n then we (or just me?) go to illegal sites to get the shot but it’s sad cos theyre never as hi-res as the original (but it doesn’t matter cos DB kills a pic’s quality anyway).

      I can actually take screenshots on Viki from my laptop 👀
      (I read an explanation of why it works, once, but I don’t remember xD)
      But this is why I appreciate Chinese streaming apps (and YouTube), they still allow screenshots 😁

    and consider it as lil rant by the end…

    so when Deborah went to Ju Wan’s doorstep all broken drunk and cried mess…
    when she begged him to turn it all back as she is okay him cheating once
    when she literally broke in tears and sat on roadside…

    i could see it as someone unable to move on from a toxic relationship cause they are used to of being with that person.
    they are scared of being left alone even if the other person is just taking advantage and they know it well…

    it was shown here for romantic relationships but i can attest that its for all relationship even when parents are toxic… or siblings are toxic or office colleagues are toxic or friends are toxic… we are scared of left alone while other person are still enjoying as if we never mattered to them despite giving that relationship our all… and now they are moving on leaving us with nothing but tears and heartbreak.
    .
    i feel i could see many more people as Deborah begging their toxic counterpart just to accept them back (i am not excluding myself.. i hav done that.. i always do that)
    but seeing Deborah i realized how much other person must have laughed at me thinking “how silly this gal is.. see she has no where to go, she has no one at her back”
    but not anymore.. ill be stronger person un future and will never beg to be part of someone’s life if am not respected.

      I understand your point. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be a boyfriend, simply a group of friends which suddenly breaks up because of misunderstandings or whatever reason. I have been the only one suffering because I wanted everything to be solved and go back to what it was, while other people didn’t care at all and where happy and moving on.

      Years later I see that it wasn’t so important and some times people don’t deserve your suffering because of them.

    finished just now… and it was a good all loops closed ending.. kind of lukewarm considering its ride so far… but ill take it as a trade off for watching that passionate and high on emotions drama…

    This drama is one of my biggest disappointments, mainly because I was really excited about it and watched it live. They could have easily gone the tropey but fun melo route but they executed everything in such a bland way that the show simply wasn’t fun or even enjoyable

      i agree and mostly it was last one hour that fell flat for me thats 1st…
      2nd OTP was the best thing but the way they handled MGYs insecurities towrds WDH that made me mad… they spent all the time on her sorting herself out while it all could have been used to build a better ending for OTP….. i am still not satisfied with the ending which was so so lukewarm despite showing what chemistry leads have from the start… their chemisty was wasted towards the end..
      still i am happy i watched for WDH 🤩🤩🤩😍😍

most probably it will be dropped by 6th epi end. 3rd epi ffed in 20 mints, 4th epi managed to watch in 40 mints…
no matter how much desperate i was to watch Yoon Hyun Min but this drama lacks the pull for me.

    Best and greatest thing happened.. i finally got a full time Job as Video Editor in a Media house of my country its the only media house which focuses on positivity, and making a world a better place for people with its touch to various aspects.
    plus its my dream company i always got motivated thru its stories and now working for it.. God couldn’t be more gracious than this.

    its a remote work so thats another plus… its been almost 6 months and i am just on cloud 9… might not be able to share the details here but may be in future ill share my work in some other post.

    Worst part
    My anxiety got worst.. so bad that its inching towards panci attack as i started to have throat choking feeling and tightening of facial muscles, hand trembling and many other things… so decided to go for therapy this time for my anxiety and 2 sessions in am lil better…. as therapist is such a lovely lady who is not just understanding but she has solutions to all my emotional mess that i am currently.

    But its long game to get hold of my triggers so they wont bother me any more.. still i am giving up soon

    3rd as i had my remote job i can spend some quality time with my kdramas and that was another good thing.
    Watched 13 dramas so far in this year and my fav was Crash course in romance, First responders and Love to hate you..and my most hated drama was Interest of love.

    1. Joseon Attorney which i absolutely LOVED and love is an under statement for what i feel for this drama cause Female Lead is no damsel in distress and Bona plays it so well.. and WDHs first drama i am watching and his acting is par excellence.

    2. Bora Deborah just 2 epis in and kind of good happy drama but not sure how well it will do in long run.

    3. real has come just for some long drama that i can spend my time watching.. good ensemble cast and Baek Jin hee is kind of my fav so i can watch for her.

    4. Family the unbreakable bond
    no idea why disney hasnt released its subs yet am so eagerly waiting for it.

    The various translations are slowly coming through for Family so hopefully it won’t be long before English is included in the list. This is definitely the longest I have waited for subs to come through but it looks like it will be well worth the wait. Bora was a fun watch and the comments section was lively too so it looks like it will be an interesting place to be over the next few weeks😊.

Finally i figured out that age plays a big role in making you like or dislike a drama and choices any character makes in those dramas.
4 years back when Encounter was aired i instantly disliked the show for PBG (i am still bitter for R88) and then i couldnt undrestand why someone as Complete and Perfect as CSH fell in love with someone like Jin Hyuk.
And by 5th episode i dropped it…(may be by 7th)

but now after 4 years… 4 years more lonelier and older i could finally undersand Cha Soo Hyun and her feelings for Jin Hyuk. And now I am literally having goosebumps for every single time she looks at him with her sad eyes only to be having a smile o her face… ahhh now i am gettng softe towards PBG too cause Jin Hyuk is such a charmer.

on Epi 5th now and no way ill drop it… trying to binge and working on my projects side by side.

just wanted to rant it out cause i bashed Cha soo Hyun so much then so she deserves some love and afection now.

      What a wonderful reflection, @howmanyoppas! I know your response was a bit tongue in cheek @ally, but I agree that it’s more to do with experience rather than age, and since age gives us more chances for experience, the two are linked. Quite often when I’m alone in my opinions about a drama/character/behaviour, I attribute it to my personal experience. I like that a book, drama, film etc. may not change, but we do, and it means that what we get from it changes as well.

    I loved Encounter! So nice you’re enjoying it now.

    I had a similar experience. I couldn’t stand the second female lead in Coffee Prince the first time I tried to watch it. And I couldn’t like the secondary couple because of her.

    But this year I enjoyed the show so much, and I really liked that couple’s relationship. A LOT. I understood the SFL’s state of mind and decisions way better now. Such a real and mature character I couldn’t understand before.

it doesnt matter how big your role is but what matters how big the impact is.. and
Kang Tae Ho has hit the ball out the park far far away… bouy this role is for him.. his eyes n smile speak so much without him uttering a word…
he needs a swoony male lead role with more screenspace to show case more of his charm and acting.. please some one write a role for him soon.

    Strictly speaking, his role in EAW is a support one and we can count how many lines there are per episode. BUT the impact! I’m sure there are many others are looking forward to his appearance and check out where his eyes are. Those glances, side look, yearning and full attention to his object of affection are sights to behold.

    Sadly, this seems to be his last project before listing.
