BOSSAM: Steal the Fate.
Kwon Yuri as Princess Ha In aka Soo-kyeong.

Yuri-ah has become my favorite idol sageuk girl! I absolutely love her in this drama!

    Slowly getting to this weeks episodes. Finally finished episode 5 tonight. I enjoyed watching Ba-woo and the Princess join forces in pulling off the big con.

      Can’t wait to read your thoughts on those two episodes.

        @kiara,
        In addition to the slow subbing this week I have been watching an episode a night of MOVE TO HEAVEN and then moving on to BOSSAM so I have been slow being current.
        I did find myself a couple times pausing episode 5 to Google something.
        I haven’t read @wishfultoki’s squeecap or the comments in the Hangout yet so maybe you have commented on 2 of these things.
        The first was the Dongui Bogam and Heo Jun.
        The second was the use of the ‘mapae’ medallion. Frankly I was surprised there was not a translator’ s note for that on Viki. It was very important for the story (and the con). I did not know anything about the mapae and it is quite interesting. A horse pass. Just a couple thoughts in passing.

          @marcusnyc20,

          Please add your notes also to our thread if you can. I did put together a historical reference to Doctor Heo and his medical book but it got eaten by the lag and error so I lost it.
          Now I’m too lazy to do it again.

          @marcusnyc20 I learned about the mapae in SECRET ROYAL INSPECTOR hehe. I’d like to know more about the meaning of the number of horses. Please share your findings on the fanwall! (The Hangout thread is crashing constantly – it can’t handle our long posts).

          What was not clear to me in the end is if the other “eunuch investigators” were also frauds. 😂They had no medallion but he looked more like a eunuch than Soo-kyung. And they had real swords, which all leads me to think they were authentic. But why were they there?

          Re. Heo Jun, I mentioned him briefly in the squeecap. I remembered Kim Nam-gil’s portrayal from LIVE UP TO YOUR NAME but that drama doesn’t exactly focus on his Joseon medical career.
