It’s nice to see the supporting casting to shine too. Ha Yoon-Kyung has Freitag bags! It’s a Swiss brand! I liked her drama choices. She was my favourite intern in HP and a lovely wife in SWNK.

    @Kurama: I always try to remind myself how amazing it is that good actors can concentrate on their intimate scenes and convey the relevant emotions given the crew and at times the world at large around them. I know trained actors are taught how to do that but it must not be easy.
    And, on a different note, what in the world is going on with the post above you? Is that really advertising for a Dr?? It is bizarre and hilarious.

      I used to mock method acting (mostly because of the stories I’ve heard about the additional work that it creates for the crew, support staff, and everyone around the actor), but seeing what it looks like behind the scenes, I can kind of understand it now. I’d find it very difficult to switch from being in and out of character so quickly, and have all the more admiration for people who can become fully absorbed in a role in a moment when the world they’re inhabiting isn’t as seamless as it appears to the us as the audience!

        @mellowarmadillo: Well, stories of method actors taking it to the extremes are appalling for the exact reasons you mentioned. However, switching back and forth must be difficult and after multiple takes would be exhausting so that’s probably why not every actor lasts the distance (as well as their level of training and natural ability). Also, it is incredibly important to remember how crucial the mostly unsung work of the crew is to acting and the success of actors as well as how much the editing process can influence our final perceptions.

          So true! What we see as the audience isn’t just acting but the whole fictional world that’s been built for actors to inhabit! Editing alone must be such an art and skill in itself. It’s lovely to be reminded of how many people it takes to tell stories in this medium.

      I’m not Korean and I didn’t go to Quebec because of Goblin but because it’s a beautiful region, but the 2 nights in Fairmont Frontenac Castle were totally because of the Gobling 😅

Park Eun-Bin is great in this role! She’s super cute but she can say her very very long text! It’s cute Kang Ki-Young said he couldn’t complain about his long lines because PEB’s text is longer :p
