How is Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha supposed to be a healing drama? Absolutely nothing about episode 15 was heartwarming or healing. I feel terrible for Du-shik. Just when he was finally taking the first steps towards healing from his previous traumas, the writer hits him with this. That would take an immense toll on a person’s psyche. There is no healing, just trauma and depression.

Once again I’m convinced that South Korea has a monopoly on good child actors. The kid playing I-jun was fantastic. The scene-stealer of this episode, no doubt. So much talent in these little kids. What am I doing with my life?

I randomly started One the Woman out of boredom and I freaking love it. Honey Lee is extremely typecast, but how is she not when she’s an absolute blast playing these characters. I can watch her yell and outmatch these asshole chaebols all day. This show wasn’t on my radar at all and now I’m counting down the days till the next episode. These sorts of unexpected gems are awesome.

I-jun is phenomenal in Ep 15, not only because of how well he cries but demonstrating so convincingly his suffering in silence all these years.

    Agree about the traumas.
The tragedies of the past were too many and too huge to bear, the episode felt suffocating.
    And then the last blow.

They think having characters with some kind of dark past in a romance means it’s a healing drama. I’m on ep 11 and no one in this show learned anything so far.
