Here’s a special farewell to 2018 episode: a Year-End Yak! We go over all the dramas we’ve loved and hated with a passion, as well as honorable mentions, non-2018 stuff we loved, what we wish we’d watched, and more.
Happy New Year, everyone! Thanks for spending 2018 with us! Whether it was an intermission or a crescendo, we hope it was exactly what you needed.

00:29:56 – Saya’s Honorable Mentions
00:38:49 – BEST DRAMAS OF 2018
01:25:33 – WORST DRAMAS OF 2018
01:41:59 – Great Dramas We Missed This Year

01:54:34 – Best Non Korean Dramas of 2018
I’m enjoying this so much! @paroma and I should never be permitted to watch a drama in the same room. We agree on sticky points of many dramas and yet her loves are often my hate watches. I’m afraid we’d ruin the dramas for each other.
Your favorite was one of my hate watches. Sorry. I wanted to like it but I felt like the main theme was lost (and killed with PPL that often supported an opposite message).
Oh I’ll totally give you that. The PPL were peddling a very different message from the drama. But as @saya said (when defending INAR) I loved the story so much that that just didn’t matter to me. I could overlook it.
But this is why I wish one of them had watched MIGB – they could have brought this very glaring problem up during the episode and we could have discussed it.
I loved Dance Sports Girls to pieces and it’s eclipsed other youth dramas for me. The bonus is that it healed my APAD heart (not a Ye-liner, one of my other disagreements).

Thanks! Haha but half the fun is in arguing about things we don’t agree on, right? 😉
Happy New Year!
