in for queen of mystery season 2! finished watching this week eps and it was good! just like the last season. XD what do u guys think?

    I loved it! The first episode was hilarious. I love how Wanseung and Seol Ok keep insisting that they’re not that close 😂
    The arson case seems interesting. I’m glad it’s not a murder case this time. I bet the cafe owner is behind it. She seemed suspicious.
    I’m hoping Lee Won Geun will make a cameo though. I miss him and his bromance with Wanseung and the way he admired Seol Ok and followed her around like a sweet little puppy.

      i ship them together tbh, but i’m more interested to watch how they solve the mystery more. glad that they didn’t put that much romance in spotlight.
      i miss him too! especially his eye smile. i see some familiar face in eps 1 like her mother in law, and wan seung partner from the last season but disappointed that lee won geun wasn’t there. i really hope that he’ll make a cameo in the future eps!

anyone watching this? should we kiss first.. im a little bit skeptical because of the synopsis.. seems like another melodrama, but after i checked out the first eps, it got me hooked!!

    This show is so GOOD! I was skeptical, too. I didn’t want to watch something heavy, but this is so well made. It isn’t heavy, it is more of a romantic comedy with 50 parts romance and 50 parts comedy. There is some melo sprinkled in, but so far it only comes in the last 2 minutes of each episode and it is done very well via flashbacks.

      yes! and that’s what makes me keep on watching. i usually gave up on watching melodrama because it might be too heavy. but this one is a gem!

        I’ll most likely start it in the next week or the one after that (time issues, as always!). I’ve seen a couple of clips and yes, it appears to be really good. I’m certainly looking forward to it. Glad you’re enjoying it!

          Start it! It is really good with cast of characters that all look well thought out. It is also winning Mondays and Tuesdays at 11% viewership!

    I just finished Ep 3 (or 5-6, whatever) and came to DB to see if someone was talking about it. I’m loving the show. I’m actually laughing more that I expected. I’m only a little worry about the very first scene, but I’m for the ride.
    PS: That ice bath in the lake was soooo well deserved!

      ikr! this drama is so underrated. glad that i actually started to watch this drama. yeaah! the girl is so rudee! i was screaming the whole time while watching that scene. so satisfying XD

        Yes! It was also really poignant that An Soon-Jin said that the girl’s attitude was her parents’ fault. I bet that by the end they’ll find in each other a real mother figure and a daughter

      It was so well deserved! I think I had a gasp of shock when it happened. I couldn’t believe she actually did it.

      I am keeping a string of hope that DB might still pick it up. We are live recapping it if you want to know what happens before subs come out, but we don’t break down the episode like Dramabeans does.

    If you’re looking for a funny but meaningful watch, definitely try Because This Life is Our First. I’m not sure how long you’ve been away, but that was an ultimate Beanie favourite this year.

    Others include The Liar and His Lover (youth music drama), Forest of Secrets (crime/ thriller), and Age of Youth 2 (slice of life). Currently a lot of us are enjoying Just Between Lovers (melo, but not in an overwrought way, it’s very understated and mellow), although it’s not recapped on site.

      i’ll definitely watch because this life is our first. my friend said that i’ll definitely fell in love with lee min ki. so i would like to watch this drama first for my kdrama marathon.
      i think the last drama i watched is the best hit. im away from kdrama world for just a few months but it felt so long.
