Beanie level: Errand boy

Nam Joo-hyuk really does well in these nice-guy-coming-from-behind-roles.

And the crown prince’s chief guard messes up again! Just what the prince would not want to hear! Love this character! He always cracks me up. #RedSleeveCuff

I get that Jang Tae-jin is cold and ruthless enough to deny help to a dying man. But then to insist on marrying his daughter? That’s beyond despicable. I’m looking forward to see him behind bars.

Why, oh why, can’t the ML be Lee Hyun, instead of Royal Tutor Jung? I’m so tired of him acting on his feelings. He’s immature, out of line, and selfish next to Hyun. I’m ready to drop this show….

So relieved at the lack of noble idiocy in Dali and Gamjatang ep. 13. Hope it continues!!

Did I miss something? I’m wondering what happened to @lollypip?

Is she not doing recaps? Not watching any dramas except for one, so had no idea she’s mia. Hope she’s okay and just taking a much needed break.

She’s more active on her Twitter account. She works in healthcare (pharmacy tech, I gather from her tweets), so you can just imagine how busy she has been for the past year and a half. Also, her dogs, Lolly and Pippin, have had health issues in the past couple years. She does have a snake now that she dotes on. She actually has a few. https://twitter.com/lollypipkd/status/1445845889411534850?s=21

A lovely ending to Hometown Cha Cha Cha ep. 10! I love the way Hye-jin was the one who just had to confess, and made her own moment.

There’s going to be a Hospital Playlist 3, right? They’re not just going to wrap all this up one week from now, right?

    Um… *awkward laugh* 😣

They told the actors to go ahead and accept other jobs, so I don’t think so.

The writer, producer and director only wanted 2 seasons soooooo……

But the ratings have been fantastic. Even better than the 1st season. So, it would not be outside the realm if they ask them to come back. But if they can’t get every single person in front ans behind the camera back, I don’t see the point.

Chul-san, Sa-ha, and the copy machine…. How cute was that!

“What do you like about me?”
“Do I have to have a reason?”
Wiping away happy tears.
So glad to see Do-San’s smile again.
Ji-pyeong, you’re a good man. Rooting for you to find happiness tomorrow.

I was hoping for a fakeout, but not Descendants of the Sun style. DoDoSol, I’m stunned, and not in a good way.

Whaaat???!! DoDoSol, you’ve given us a lot of fakeouts and this better be one of them!!

Is the show sending Do-San to California for three years so he can write real love letters to Dal-mi?

lol.. ok that’s an angle i didn’t think about

    BUT oh so plausible

That would be a nice touch.
I foresee noble idiocy at some point.

My guess is Jun is Dodosol, and that as soon as he finishes school, he will start messaging Rara again. He made a deal with his dad to protect her.

2
3

Probably the deal went like this: you give me the money to buy the building, and I agree not to contact her (except to break up) until I have graduated from college. I wouldn’t be surprised if the family hired that rude girl to make sure he keeps his promise.

I haven’t watched the last episode yet but that would be my guess too.

Is Dr. Cha terminally ill? Why else would Ra-ra marry him? Why would everyone who knows about her and Jun be OK with that, even Grandpa? What the heck?

I’m not convinced that wedding was legit.

I kinda think it was a sympathy wedding. Dr. Cha maybe told Ra-ra he would die before Jun was old enough to marry her, and Ra-ra agreed to take care of him and let him take care of her while he was living. I can’t think of any other reason that everyone would support them.

But I think the real reason for this strange plot twist is so that the writer could have this reverse scene, where instead of the mother grabbing her son away from Ra-ra, her true love is grabbing Ra-ra away from her “husband.” The writer wanted to show us Jun running away with Ra-ra. It’s a good thing that Jun knows his own heart and Ra-ra’s and didn’t hesitate to interrupt the lovely wedding scene, even with his whole Eunpo family standing behind the newly married couple.

I think the wedding has something to do with Seung-gi and Ha-yeong’s business plan. It doesn’t make sense and the preview says so xD

Brahms, do I even want to watch you tomorrow? Do I want to see Joon-young breaking his heart and Song-ah firmly declaring that she is only his friend? I have better things to do with my time.

Even if episode 16 is the happiest, best thing ever, my perception of this show is irreparably damaged.

I may be in the minority, but I thought ep. 16 was kinda lame. There was very little of the excitement of their earlier episodes. It was like, “Yeah, I realized that love comes with pain, so I’m ready to try again, because you make me happy even though sometimes I’m going to get hurt too.” Which may be very true to life, but was presented in such a subdued way that it’s hard to celebrate.

Our Song-ah stood up for herself 3x today. So why was there no sense of relief? Enough misery, show. Time for our lovebirds to overcome their troubles and be swoony again. Time for a joyful duet.

How about Jung-kyung? I felt like she redeemed herself a bit today, reaching out to the student and interceding for HH. I wish Song-ah could have seen the way JK rejected Prof. Lee’s dirty trade.

Jung Kyung isn’t a nobody. The confidence she has in part stems from her pedigree. Song Ah isn’t stupid. By the end, things will get resolved and she will stand her ground.

I think so too. I think she took a big step toward that by admitting she was conflicted about being used. If she has reconciled with not becoming a performer then there is nothing to keep her from quitting as Prof. Lee’s assistant next ep. “Take your brooch and your assistant-ship and your graduate program and …. (fill in the blank in a modest but firm way).” Still, I think she would have appreciated the way JK was able to embarrass Prof. Lee.

Wouldn’t it be perfect if instead of JK and HH having to compete for one professorship, Prof. Lee was fired and both of them got hired?

Yeah I’d like that Prof Lee be-gone! No student deserves to have her as their mentor, she doesn’t even know how to teach. I mean comeon! Who treats their students as errandboys and girls. *rawr

Really hoping that Song Ah and Jung Kyung could just join forces and show Professor Lee what they are made of

Finally! JY opened up to Song-ah, and Song-ah kept sharing with JY. He seemed so happy to have someone to trust. Song-ah only sees her lack of musical talent, but JY cherishes her for who she is.

Brahms uses previews so well! Ep9 could have led to disaster, but no, we saw SA visiting JY’s place, so no worries. Ep10 was sad and frustrating but now I’m waiting for that Monet bridge scene….

I was about to thank that rain in Ep 10 but JY just had to have an umbrella 🙄

    Yeah, the preview……

If the side characters keep being as frustrating as they have been, I hope our OTP just stays wherever they went and enjoy themselves, alone in that scenery with ice cream.
