      I second this. Put Your Head on My Shoulder is a sister drama of A Love So Beautiful. Same writer but Put Your Head on My Shoulder is university setting. One of my favourites as well. Xiao Xi’s boss (Fu Pei) and colleague (Momo) are the second male lead and the female lead of Put Your Head on My Shoulder. Xiao Xi was briefly mentioned at the end ^_^

    I loooooooooooooooooooooooove A love So Beautiful. This is not on Netflix, but iQiyi and other illegal sites carry this series, Lovely Us. One of my favourite school dramas too. Yesterday I decided that I have Sunbae 2 Overload – we worked together a lot last week and since he handles major issues, it was exhausting. I\’d rather take a break this week, thankyouverymuch.

I just had our chat open, smiling when he went online, finding comfort in the knowledge that there\’s someone I can reach out to in case of emergencies, but not attempting to strike a conversation (because finding an excuse is hard enough).

And so I let him be and went about my day, but just as I was about to call it a day, the Universe (aka my boss) told me to raise a concern to his team. I thought about reaching out to someone else, but since that person is offline, I had to default to him.

And that, Beanies, is how Sunbae 2 had me laughing at the end of an exhausting day by pouting that I gave him more work.

Uhm, I just started Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo because @wapz commented on my previous post about something something crushes lol. Wow, I really miss uni and Lee Joo-young is such a girl crush.

I have an exam coming up that I\’m excited to study for and so many books on my TBR that I can\’t binge this one though.

    Lol, you remind me of that one thread on DB probably around when Weight lifting Fairy aired (don’t know which one it was specifically if someone reading this remembers it please link it), where beanies discussed how far they have gone for their crushes. I had nothing to add back then but I do remember going to a funeral to see a crush and that’s pretty absurd. Have fun working with SC2!

      Oh dear I would very much love to read that thread! I crush on/admire a lot of people and usually tend to get them to notice me by trying to do well in a common interest, whether it’s sports, a particular subject, or now, work. Lol.

      I have to think hard if I did anything ridiculous though since I may have suppressed those memories 😂

Beanies, guess who managed to convince her parents into watching 18 Again last night?

I must say though, I\’m falling into Wi Ha-joon\’s charms all over again. Ye Ji-hoon was introduced early on as a playboy, but in that bar scene when the woman slapped him, wished he ended up with a divorced woman with kids, and we thought he was a cheater… It was clearly about Seo-yeon lol.

Sadly, my dad doesn\’t seem as invested as he was in CLOY and Start-Up so they\’re probably gonna drop this after a few more episodes. Oh, well, I guess I\’d just rewatch on my own.

Sunbae ep. 3: I know I’m biased, but can these two actually please talk so that Jae-shin knows that she knows about the “wedding” and gets to ‘fess what’s really up instead of turning this even more complicated?

The flashbacks and seeing how he gets treated by his family make it more painful because he actually cares for Song-ah and leans on her for support because (I think) she’s similarly enstranged from family.

Also, Hyun-seung please stop telling her to get revenge by dating you when she just wants to break it off quietly. If you really care for her you should be telling her to talk with him, get closure, and let her heal, right?

She could’ve just yelled “I’M BREAKING UP WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED TO THE CHAIRMAN’S DAUGHTER!” in this scene and slammed the door in his face.

Sigh.

          Up til ep 4 they’re not doing a good job of making Lee Jae-shin an unsympathetic character. I dislike that he’s getting aggressive but it feels like he’s the victim here and Song-ah is his “safe place” and is lost without her 😭

Beanies, last week was such a good week for my one-sided crushes and I\’m still on a giddy high that I just have to share.

Sunbae Crush 2, the one I talked about in my previous post, is so easygoing and fun, yet incredibly reliable with work. We just exchanged emails until a couple of weeks ago when he helped with a mistake I made. His enthusiasm and curiosity rub off and motivate me to learn more and improve. Huh, and to think I\’m even excited to work nowadays?

Sunbae Crush 1, on the other hand, was a crush at first sight. The way the corner of his eyes crinkle when he smiles… I was a goner. We smiled whenever we catch each other\’s eyes back at the office, but I didn\’t really have that many chances to work with him… Until last week and gosh, that call was adorably awkward and it started like this:

*SC calls*
Me: Hello? Uhm, hello?
*Several seconds of silence*
SC: Oh, sorry I\’ve been talking for a while and didn\’t realize I was on mute.
Me: Haha that\’s alright. You can repeat your intro if you want.
SC: Hahahaha! Uhm, hi, welcome to my channel?

That one call should last me for a long time though, because I only have reason to interact with Sunbae Crush 1 when there are big issues and I certainly don\’t want that 😂
