I keep consoling myself that 1.30hrs of episode is more than enough for a week of Hospital Playlist but the minute an ep ends, I start lamenting about unfair it is to only have just 1 ep each week!

For a person who doesn’t like and not eat sweets or chocolates, I sure do bake a lot. A LOT! Its kinda therapeutic and helps me relax. And no one loves this fact more than my mom and sister, who have the biggest sweet tooth in the family.

    Me too. 🥺 I like baking because it allows me to just read the recipe, prepare the ingredients, and follow the steps in the recipe. Sometimes, the end result might look different from the recipe describes, but it is still edible in the worst case.

    Lucky for you to have such mom and sis! My family isn’t very fond of sweet things, but I force them to try mine anyway. 😂

So, after a year of waiting and waiting, I finally finished Ep 1. This ep was like a high serotonin boost for my mood.
Some of my thoughts on the episode. Please be beware of *SPOILERS* ahead…

– Chu Min Ah was great in S1 but in S2 she is not only awesome but also just the sweetest relatable character. I wanted to hug her in that scene where she was having the dinner alone for xmas. And smack Seokhyeong for being thickheaded.
– I cant wait for Mama Ahn to recieve AJW with red carpet for his upcoming visit. I hope Gyeol also will accompany him.
– Also, How sweet was the Winter Garden couple!!!! sakjdkhgkjdhjkgfh!!! I really did think the drama was going to drag it till the end to see their lovey dovey interaction but just wow! I squealed like the time when they kissed the first time.
– AJH being the perfect bf and taking care of his gf!!! GF!!!! But since it is his personality, but seeing that Gyeowol also taking care of him and serving him was just heartwarming.
– As for the answer to the confession that we all have been waiting for a year to hear, I think the drama handled it well. CSH who have been in love with Ik Jun in the past and burned off wouldnt have jumped right in after his confession. Makes perfect sense even though I wanted her to say yes and make Ikjun the happiest man. But I am sure we have the rest of the 11 eps for that and it is going to be fun watching it all unfold and how their relationship will evolve.

Also the main thing, Is it thursday yet?!!!!!! Cant wait!!

    The scene where she was eating alone somehow managed to be hilarious and bold and so sad when they showed she eas zipping from seat to seat eating both meals. I must admit I wanted to see the other diners reaction to her being both parties on her date!

    Is he being thickheaded or is he very consciously ignoring her feelings? I think it’s the latter. Wasn’t there s small amount of backstory on SK and his mother that sheds light on his mostly nonexistent social life? His ex-wife and family seem to be ok?

I am just in a very bad drama slump lately!

There is so many dramas that I started watching but dropped that I had lost count at this point. The only drama I was able to finish off this year was Vincenzo and that also I struggled with the last 2 episodes.

DAYS, Law School, Taxi Driver, Run On, Uncanny Encounter and Memory (Both which I started in the beginning of the year) are a few… which I dropped in the middle.

It’s not just k-dramas but non-kdrama related series too… I tried to climb from this slump with Witcher and Money Heist but ended up stopping at 3 or 4 eps in. Same problem!

The only series which I finished was Falcon & Winter Soldier and this week the premiere ep of Loki which I loved more than I thought I could, looked very promising (hopefully I will stick around till the end for this one).

I think the second half of 2021 is going to be just the same… The only bright side in k-drama land is Hospital Playlist at this point for me. I have waited for it a whole year and I hope Season 2 wont disappoint me. *fingers crossed*

    I found a good balance between MCU and K-drama.
    Currently 2 for 2. Falcon and the Winter Soldier/Loki (MCU) and Vincenzo/Bossam (K-drama).
    Movies – Black Widow and Book of Fish.

    Sadly, I know how you feel! I’m in my biggest drama-slump, like, I just can’t get myself to watch anything, nothing seems interesting.

    I am excited for Hospital Playlist but I need to get myself out of this mood to actually be able to watch it or else I’m afraid I’ll drop that too!

Had put a hold on all dramas that I was watching for now… dropped into see if there is any update on Hospital Playlist S2… & I am so utterly happy to see one.
The only thing I am looking forward to these days! 12 more days to go!
