Everywhere I turn I see raving reviews for Move To Heaven and also how it made everyone cry. Is it that sad and heartbreaking? I want to go ahead and watch it for LJH but scared that this drama will make me bawl like a baby because lately I am like a broken faucet crying at anything and everything I see.

I’ve only seen episode 1 till now and I was already crying. I’ll call it wholesome rather than sad/heartbreaking or heartwrenching, it made me cry in a good way. Maybe you can put it off for a better time.

I second this – it made me emotional, but in a good way. It wasn’t trying to make me sad to make me feel sad and gray. It was just…life. And so the good and the sad were both deeply felt.

This is my question too. Wapz’ and Lakes’ responses are useful.

You Should Watch It !!! I know you’ll like it. I liked Navillera too but put it on hold, this is something I’m yearning to watch after the first episode. It has that extra spark.

You will like it. It’s akin to a slice of life drama but from the other side of the spectrum. All the episodic stories make you treasure what you have.

I have very low emotional bandwidth at the moment personally, but I am so glad I watched this show. You’ll probably be able to tell after the first half of the first episode if you can manage because it’s quite tonally consistent. It’s not manipulative (i.e. the emotional beats and conflicts feel justified and worthwhile), and I would say it’s cathartic and hopeful overall. There are some fight scenes that I could not watch (but I don’t have the stomach for violence). I found it a lovely and complete package of a show. It reminded me of Mystic Pop-Up Bar, and I love these shows equally. I hope you enjoy it whenever you end up watching it!☺️

I also did some FF through the fight scenes, too. I felt like they made sense and weren’t gratuitous, but like you I struggle with violence.

Make sure to have box of tissues with you if you watch it. Episode 10 made me bawl like a baby 😭
