Beanies how do you deal with disappointment. I know the thing I’m feeling blue over won’t be important bin a year but I just feel like my efforts were wasted

Speaking from personal experience, you gotta choose the best one from existing options to clear away disappointments. And completely forget the ‘what if-s’.

Disappointment stings and really the only way out is through. Give yourself some time, and as Playstore said, choosing the best one of the existing options and forget the what-ifs.

Your efforts weren’t waisted! If this is about your university exams, I, as someone who failed/didn’t get the grade I needed at big fat exams (noticed? not one: several), guarantee you that next time you sit down to study you’ll realise you remember a lot and learning will be a lot easier.
And remember: an examination only assesses your ability to sit for that one type of examination – it doesn’t say anything about you as a person!
Besides, you never know: sometimes a disappointment brings new opportunities that you wouldn’t consider if things went according to plan! Keep beaning on, everything will work out! (*finger hearts)

Ops, just scrolled down and realized that you actually got a really good grade, but not the one you were aiming for… So you don’t need to retake the exam, right? I’m sure you’ll figure it out, good luck!

I don’t need to retake the exam but I’m really thankful for your words of encouragement. You sharing your experience made me feel better
