Please Don’t Date Him has the BEST conversation melt down scene of all time. I can’t do it justice by explaining it for those who haven’t seen it so I won’t really try but you know those conversations you have with your group of friends and everyone is really touchy and sensitive and every single sentence someone says sets someone else off and everything is burning it’s all burning down but nothing can stop this conversation it’s going to just keep going and going and going until EVERYONE IS BURNT AND THE DESSERT IS BURNT AND EVERYTHING IS AWFUL.

This whole scene made me HOWL with laughter because it was so true to life and I’ve definitely had these conversations before.

My favorite part was how the guys at first looked at each other like “Oh my god can you believe this is happening lol” but then they got themselves dragged into it too and NO ONE WAS SAFE.

RIP dessert.

Oh yes, this was a good scene!

I have mixed feelings about the drama overall though. The two main male leads (the UKISS idol guy and Joo Woo-jae) did a mediocre acting job, I think.

I just finished it and I enjoyed it! I didn’t looove it, but it was funny and feminist (and short!) and I loved the 3 friends, so that’s enough for me. The guys were serviceable, IMO, and since it was really the 3 friends that the show centered the most I was fine with it.

I liked the three friends too! I thought they were great. I was pleasantly surprised by Yoon Bo-mi. Agree that it was a feminist show! I thought it did a good job with portraying the motivations, emotions, and reasoning of the FL especially, although also the older friend with her secretive husband.
