    I’m happy (not about the cliffhanger lol) – thought this ep was much better than yesterday’s and things are seeming to pick up a little more now!! PLUS my qualms about Sol-hee’s passiveness from ep 11 melted away this ep too! THAT CLIFFHANGER yes gosh lol I was so sure I was wrong about the murdered because of that last scene and then the preview made me go wait a minute, maybe I’m right?!?

      I don’t feel very cliff-hung though…it won’t be yet obvious who it is. THAT IS, unless we really do wrap this up in episode 13 and it’s Hamburger Hyung…and then we get Seon-ha’s prediction of three further episodes of IDOL DRAMA 🤣

        Hahaha. I think I’m quite used to the PD’s random humor by now (e.g., stung between the eyes by a bee, that young man appeared out of nowhere grabbing the ML’s foot when the OTP was about to kiss). So random, but I like them actually. I feel like they aren’t taking this project too seriously even when we have a man roaming around trying to kill the ML.

        😂😂.. I think the murder mystery would end soon because then there would be not enough time to explore on the idol plot. So I think you might be right. I’d say the last 2 eps would be light again? We can’t have a romantic fantasy thrilling comedy the thrilling part of which goes on until the very last ep? That’s what I hope for: For the mystery to be finished next week and we get the last 2 doing bright and light things again.

I just finished a show that is simple, slow, and good. Han So-hee is magnetic and so pretty. PHS is also very good at acting. His nuanced expressions are just so good.

    I really like both of them and I’d especially do anything for more PHS on my screen but I’ve briefly read the plot of Soundtrack and have been going back and forth on actually hitting play. Is it quite very angsty?

      I’d say the best things about Soundtrack 1 are as follows:

      1. Beautiful setting and cinematography
      2. Beautiful leads and outfits and makeup
      3. Slowness
      4. The ML and FL’s acting prowess

      And the above four are accompanied by a very simple plot and a good dose of boredom.

      So to answer your question, to me it has 0 angst.

Bang PD (former PD of 2D1N) finally had a new show named Brotherhood Expedition. It’s on Viu. And for those who liked her work, she has the same “touch” in the new show. 💗

    Weird… She said health issues was the reason on her resigning as 2D1N PD. Now that she’s in this project and know that it’s aired on TVN, I think she had some disagreement with KBS.

      And this project they had to travel to and film in Mexico!

      From my experience, whether she had health issues or not, resigning using health issues is the surest and fastest way to resign. There would be nothing the company can do to stop people raising health issues as the cause of resignation. In any case, her willingness to resign from that project was evident.
      My own opinion is that she disagreed with the channel on some major things that happened later in that show (e.g., Kim Seon-ho’s resignation and the editing of him out of previous eps, Ravi’s resignation, and the inclusion of the new member, etc. she resigned together with her companion Writer No (? Can’t remember her name but she was the main writer for the show with Bang PD as the PD). 2D1N has never been the same ever since.

      On a side note, I miss her projects so much. The first ep of the new show was a bit bland, but you can tell it’s her work quite right away. It’s only 9 eps, and now 4 have aired.

        I tend to agree that the reason for their twin resignation has something to do with the decisions made by KBS re Kim Seon Ho. Now, the other possibility is that they were made scapegoats by the company for the backlash of that decision (or maybe I am just watching too may kdramas). Anyway, thanks for sharing this, I will go and watch her new variety show. I like her work and the fact that she has made it in a world usually dominated by men.

          Im pretty sure BB will come back stronger. They might be able to work together again in the future. While filming 2D1N together, Bang PD and KSH had very good rapport.

            And, dare I say this?, Na In-woo is a miscast. His chemistry doesn’t match with the older members, and Yoo Seo-ho is KSH’s substitute. To me, I don’t think this season will last long with this cast. They need a new season to freshen things up. The members’ chemistry and that of the new PD don’t match.

    One of their best (“I Want It That Way”). It’ll now be in my head for the rest of the day, no YouTube or Spotify required.

    I’ve not seen MLL today, but am happy for this warning. I won’t end up with SLS, because he’s clearly a noble idiot (see my previous frightning comment), but I will get very frustrated as people don’t communicate openly…so I’m glad to go in with my eyes open.

      I knew he was a noble idiot, but man he sure is cute. *deep sighs* I think watching ep8 made me become less mad at him. His excuse seems valid imo (or is it just about his acting chops?) regardless of how idiotic that sounds.

      I think there is no certain rule as to which type of music you can add to the playlist. I often listen to osts from dramas, so those are the ones I often get songs from. If you want to include any Koop group or K songs, you’re welcome to add those to the playlist. Just don’t forget to tag Ally.

      Yes! They are all so talented. I loved Yong Hwa since his WGM days. And he was very funny in Sell Your Haunted House with Jang Nara.

      Lawyer Shin looked so young here. They are truly artists: they are very good musicians, as well as very good actors. 😇

    ⬆️ 100%. I somewhat randomly had saved both episodes of My Lovely Liar to watch after the HeartBeat finale and I am SO GLAD I did, even though I stayed up way past bedtime.

    But now I’m going to be watching everything with that trauma weighing me down and looking for tragedy lurking around every corner. Which, come to think of it, I should already have been doing because Kdrama.

      That’s the scenario the show is gonna end up being!
      The leads are just adorable together, Chuna! This is just the thing that I want right now: something simple and good. Yes, there is some mystery involved, but I don’t care because when the ML is on the screen I melt. They exchanging heart eyes almost every time they are together doesn’t help either.

      Sigh. My heart. 😍
