Beanie level: Jang Geu-rae

I see I have risen from “Candy” to “Jang Geu-rae. I am now a fictional character! My given name means okay in Korean. I can live with that.

Tempted aka The Great Seducer
…….Well, Tempted was a delightful tale of three very rich, very bored, very close-knit friends who take their petty jealousies and play with the lives of other people

Watched this not long ago! I can’t say I liked the drama, but I really like the 3 lead actors. Moon Gayoung is really great in True Beauty

Their acting was superb. Most of the time, I didn’t dislike their characters, but there were times when I really loathed them, I mean the whole “Let’s play with TaeHee, seduce her then dump her just to satisfy my own ego” is a really, really terrible thing to do, but you forget that when you’re watching it.

It wasn’t until the later episodes that it came to me, so what if Woo Do-hwan falls in love – that doesn’t make it right what he set out to do. I’d have been quite happy if SuJi ended up alone and miserable, in fact I think she deserved to be alone and miserable. The same goes for whatsisname – the other one of the trio. He deserved a kick up the Khyber Pass!

While You Were Sleeping 💤 is excellent. Loving Lee Jong-suk doing his preening and dance moves when he thinks no one is watching!

I liked this show a lot. It was one of my earlier dramas back in late 2017 or early 2018. I have mixed feelings about LJS overall, but I love a lot of the other actors. E.g, love love love JHI.

I like the boyish charm of Lee Jong-suk he has a beautiful mouth. Jung Hae In is a cutie, he portrayed to perfection the more the silent, dependable type.

I really liked this drama. Lee Sang Yeob and Jung Hae In stole my heart

It was a pity he’s the baddie kept going through my mind. Lee Sang Yeob’s character to me was unlikeable in the beginning knowing he’s going to deny being the driver but I found his acting very good, he has a strong face which I like, not a dainty one.

Ghost Agent K (Park Hae Jin aka Seol-woo), like all secret agents 🕵️‍♀️ has an impressive collection of weaponry. Being a marksman sniper, he just lurves his sniper rifle.

Man To Man is a great spy thriller, tense and well acted. Our hero Park Hae Jin has the most kissable lips, I call him “Luscious Lips”. And those eyes…be still my beating heart 💗!

Yes it was. I knew Seo Hwi died, but not Sun Ho. It was a fitting end.

Oh no, I’m getting all the Feels again. This drama made no sense in a lot of aspects, but it really hurt my heart. My damaged Puppy Sunho, I can’t! 😭

Poor Sun Ho, there were times when I disliked him intensely, but I put that down to Woo Do-hwan expressive face and superb acting abilities. I know Seo Hwi was the lead, but I think Sun-ho’s character and bearing were more attractive. He did have an authoritive stance and voice, whereas friend Seo Hwi was more the “common people”. Even their clothing was vastly different. Seo Hwi always looked like he needed a good bath and a trip to a good hair stylist! He was rather untidy looking! I know this is Kdrama land, but still…..

The ending and death scene was very well done and was appropriate. I cried buckets and sniffled my way through a good many tissues. I liked the way our hero held his best friend protectively in his arms as he lay dying. Beautifully acted. I’m tearing up just talking about it.

😮 Never heard of that one! For a moment, I was thinking The Crowned clown because of Yeo Jingoo… Thanks for the tip, I’ve checked out wikidrama and looks good! Just need to find it on one of my streaming platforms…

          Hello,

I’ve only just learned about comments and how to reply to them. The series Royal Gambler is the title here in Australia, the title in South Korea is Jackpot. I only found that out at the weekend just gone. Not all The Kdramas have the same name, why they are changed for overseas markets, I do not know.
          Toodle pip.
