I can’t remember who posted about Regulus by ONEWE on here but they performed it on M COUNTDOWN and the main singer did the high note (at 3:19 if anyone wants to just skip to the end). It was impressive, and I’m glad we got to hear it since it was kind of in the background in the released song.

And I was just, once again, reminded just how insanely good RBW’s vocalists are. Usually high notes are ignored in music shows (or the ones that I’ve seen have been) but nope, not here.

    Wow. That’s impressive!

@hades and @greenfields have both posted about them.

I’m so happy these guys are getting more love. They’ve been around for longer than you might think, but haven’t really gotten the attention they deserve. I hope they have an N.Flying moment (reverse charting) or better yet, get a break out new song!

@raonah 이 밴드가 잘 하고 싶어. 저는 더 사람이 이밴드를 말하고 싶어. 화이팅!!!

I can’t form the complex sentences I want yet! I can barely form these simple sentences. 😭

How long have they been around for? Their debut only released a few months ago I think.

          4 years, there about.

ONEWE was originally known as MAS 0094 and debuted under Modern Music in August 2015. The band moved to RBW in June 2017 under the name MAS. The members officially re-debuted with the name ONEWE under RBW Entertainment in May 13, 2019.

Their older music is pretty good too. There isn’t much though, sadly.

Ah, I remember reading something about this. Their music still hasn’t completely drawn me in, but I’m definitely going to keep up with their future endeavors.

I was wondering the same thing.

You’re doing great! Were you trying to say ‘The band wants to do well’ in the first part? Or did you mean ‘I want the band to do well’?

The latter. I want the band to do well.

I think that ‘do well’ in English would translate better to ‘be popular’ in Korean in this case. It seems like 잘 하다 relates more to their efforts than to people’s reactions to them.
I think you could say something like this:
앞으로 이 밴드가 인기 더 많으면 좋겠다.

Which would literally translate to ‘It would be nice if the band is more popular in the future.’ but the (으)면 좋겠다 ending is also used to mean ‘I hope that…’

Thank you for sharing this. Cya’s songwriting, Younghoon’s voice and this band coming together to play music has become one of my favorite things of late.

Glad you enjoyed it! I’m still getting used to their sound, but vocals are on-point. I’ll check out their lyrics, too.
